“I have an ongoing problem, with Fischer Heating. I had a new boiler in July, didn’t turn the heating on till September. Boiler faulty, and loud breaker system which thumped through the house. Replaced last Saturday 17 Nov, I still have the same loud breakers, which are thumping on and off 7 times per 10 minutes, and despite having requested an engineer to rectify this, no one gets back to me. They won’t put calls through to Keith Bastion, or his wife, who own the company, and they block every avenue to help. This is a holiday let and already I have had to cancel or refund bookings, which has already cost me over £1000, as it is impossible to have anyone staying here with the noise. Maybe someone will get back to me today, but it doesn’t seem to happen. Communication is poor. I wish I had never heard of Fischer, and certainly would not recommend them. I will be seeking compensation.”

“We rang for help with getting a bathroom heater working. Danny called me during the afternoon of Friday 9th April, discussed the issue and agreed to ring again on Monday 12 th to talk a friend through performing a reset, as the receiver was inaccessible to me. Danny's instructions were all very clear and he answered all my questions patiently and helpfully.”
“Purchased a rad for out newly converted garden office. Fitters were polite and informative on best way to use the system and set up the thermostat based on our input. All works very well and has made the transition from a centrally heated office complex to home much easier. No real impact on our electricity consumption either. We chose not to wall mount so have the rad on castors so it can easily be moved around.”
“The fitters arrived on schedule but because of snow could not park too close to my property and had to lug the new radiators in and take the old storage heaters out. The removal and installation only took a few hours, no mess was left and I was shown how to programme the thermostatic controller. “The unit is great and the installation went great too considering the very custom requirements for my installation. However, it is worth insisting on closer consultation with them during the sales process. A few things I was told and promised during the sales process (in regards to the ease of installation) were not nearly as simple as promised and could?ve resulted in huge delays. Thankfully the installation engineers were very proactive and did a great job making it work. I definitely recommend Fischer, but with some added caution during sales so there are fewer surprises later on. Especially if your installation is more bespoke.”

I called the Fischer helpline and Stuart Randall from their technical dept, quickly called me back, he talked me through the pairing process for each of the 5 heaters. “Danny was so, so helpful this morning. He asked me what the issues were, listened carefully while I explained the (several!) questions that I had about the most efficient, cost-effective usage of the system. I didn't live in this cottage when it was installed, so wasn't here for the initial survey, installation visits etc. He was understanding of the issues, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the system. He explained succinctly and simply. He took me through a reset there and then to reset and test the radiator that I had said often caused problems. What was particularly useful was his clear explanation about the need for the three degree gap - and no more - between the sun and moon settings. I've reset all the radiators and the house is toasty warm tonight (while it's about -2/3 degrees outside). Thank you. Excellent service. Really nice, helpful, friendly man.”

“My original heating was by night storage heaters, which were beyond their "sell by date" and also even new, were getting cool by the evening and not at all controllable. So I decided to upgrade to another system and after much research decided on Fischer. The first contact was by a salesman/surveyor, who listened carefully to my requirements and then made his recommendations, which seemed very sensible. I was then told when the installation would take place, but unfortunately due to Covid-19, Fischer had to postpone the job, (I was given plenty of notification by email and phone call). When the installation actually took place, I received a confirmatory call to let me know when the installers would be with me. Two very tidy gentlemen arrived complete with Covid masks and got on with removing the old heaters and installing the new ones. One of the men took his time to ensure I understood how the controls worked. Overall a very pleaseant and efficient company to deal with, rather a change these days.”
