Quite pleased with the heaters themselves, which were installed in one day (6 heaters) without too much disruption or mess and rooms left reasonably clean & tidy afterwards. Installation team (3 men) were pleasant enough and got on with the job in an efficient manner, explaining how to use all the control options afterwards. The old CHS pipes & boiler were mostly removed without mishap, leaving the immersion heater circuit for providing hot water. Unfortunately, the connections to the back boiler behind the coal fire were not dealt with correctly and were left in an unfinished state, with hot water running out into the kitchen if the fire was lit. At the pre-installation survey I was told that the easiest option, as I was keeping the coal fire, was to re-connect the back boiler into the hot water circuit after all the CHS material had been removed, but this wasn't done on the day and it took several weeks for this to be fixed, during which time I couldn't light the fire safely at all, as four pipes from the old system had been left open leading into the kitchen. The technical manager at Fischer was pleasant and helpful in dealing with this problem, but it introduced stress, worry & delay in finishing things off which I could have done without.
