I've ordered a lot of IDS shoes in the past years, which have always been delivered either into my mailbox or to a pick-up point in town if too large. The first order I made after brexit however was a nightmare. Too keep it short, the problem in the end boiled down to two issues: - The mobile number I put in when ordering was not a French one (I was only temporarily living in France). - With this delivery option, FedEx did not enable pickup at a local point This caused deliveries to automatically fail each time, with FedEx simply rescheduling them upon my inquiries. It was almost a month before the problem was even identified, with a lot of action and energy from my side needed. While a lot of the blame lies with (French) FedEx and their very bad customer service, I held IDS responsible to a point because they should have informed customers of these two crucial conditions with FedEx deliveries - but it turned out they weren't even aware of them. However, they took full responsibility upon my complaint, apologised, promised to act regarding their FedEx contract, and gave me discount code for the next order. I've recently made this second order and everything went absolutely smoothly this time (delivered by DHL). Sometimes problems happen. But how IDS dealt with it shows me they are a responsible company who cares and strives to do well, and I am happy to remain a customer.
