Clarion refuse to carry out a repair to an electrical fitting inside my property just because it is connected to an outside light. I have requested that a repair be carried out to confirm that there is no fire hazard, yet they continue to refuse to attend the property. I will be reporting this breach of H&S to the relevant authorities because if the property was to burn down then they would be the first to point the finger of blame at me had I not reported this issue. I am not disputing that they are responsible for the outside light and I never have, what I am asking for is that they carry out their LEGAL obligation to repair electrical fittings INSIDE the property. I have requested for a manager to contact me on various occasions and guess what, nobody has bothered. The staff that I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with inside the call centre are equally as ignorant and often threaten to end the call even if you are being polite. I will not name and shame them but they know who they are. Reading other reviews on this website just goes to show the absolute disgrace that this company actually is! They are happy to take everyone's rent but when it comes to actually doing their jobs then they don't want to know. I would seriously suggest some staff training on customer relations and how to deal with people's requests correctly because at the moment this does not exist. Hopefully someone from Clarion's management team will have the decency to contact me to discuss this ongoing problem but I won't hold my breath, it seems that they would rather just get the call centre staff to do their dirty work for them.
