When we found out we were having our second baby it was extremely important to me that I try to successfully breastfeed this time around. I only made it 6 weeks with our son so when the Covid shut down began researching many methods surrounding breastfeeding and found The Thompson Method. I purchased the videos and access to the VIP Facebook page for under $100 and it was worth every single penny. Last week after exclusively nursing for 28 months our journey came to an end. An amazing journey it was. So many ups, a few downs but ultimately one of the most amazing and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. I will forever be great full to the Thompson method for everything I learned and my sweet baby girl for being patient and giving me the opportunity to do this with her. Pictured here was our last time nursing. I was a puddle and she was sad but after a week we are both transitioning very well. As a second time mom at 42 I am proud and grateful everyday for being able to give her the comfort and nutrition only breast milk can provide.
