I'm not the type to write reviews often, but I HAVE to thank Dr. Robyn and crew for developing and promoting the Thompson Method. I purchased the program around six months into my pregnancy after reading books on breastfeeding and still not feeling prepared. Our first little boy was born all natural in the hospital, but spent three days in the NICU due to low oxygen (from being in my birth canal a tad too long) where they formula fed him despite my wishes to give him colostrum or donor milk. He dropped weight because he was refusing formula half the time and I was sick and not allowed in the NICU to try to feed. When they finally let me into the NICU, they tried to teach the cradle method and told me I was feeding "incorrectly." BUT because of Dr. Robyn's videos on NICU babies and breastfeeding advice, now my baby will be a month old next week and he is back to beyond his birthweight and exclusively breastfeeding with me. No pain, no breast trauma, ALL the cuddles! If you are struggling with breastfeeding or pregnant and nervous about starting, I promise you can get through it thanks to Dr. Robyn and team.
