OMG I'm reading the reviews on this company and I'm 100% with all you who have experienced extremely poor customer service. I could write a novel on the mistakes they made after a simple booking for delivery of a new mobile phone has turned in to a nightmare. The delivery date was not suitable so I rescheduled and then had to work Nightduty last minute and had to rearrange the date for delivery again. The final date I'd scheduled I had worked a 12hr nightshift the night before, came home and stayed awake all day waiting for delivery of my parcel. It never came. I had to contact yodel through a useless system of web chat who cut you off if they think your complaining or don't give you time to type your message and they end the chat (people are not all secretarial typists. You cannot speak to any human beings within the company and the tracking system is just not correct. I ended up being awake 32hrs and still not receiving my parcel with my new phone. I informed Webchat I would not be home all day Thursday so they go ahead and re book re delivery for Thursday??? What is wrong with these people or is webchat a computer robot or a human with half a brain?? I called Virgin to inform them about yodel and that I'd still not recieved my phone and they were able to call directly to a human being at Yodel and they then transferred the call to me while I was still on the phone with Virgin. Unbelievable!!! Virgin gave me the phone number they used to contact an actual Yodel advisor to speak with and when I tried it myself it said number not in use??? On the Internet there is an email address to complain to the managing director called "Andrew Peeler". I emailed my complaint directly to him and the email came back not recognised. I'm still waiting today for my parcel and tracking had just shown that the driver is only 5 minutes away from my home, but he won't be here at my house till between 5-7pm and it says he also has 131 more parcels to deliver before he gets to me..... what a load of utter garbage. I'm now in the process of discussing this issue with the Ombudsman about the service and treatment of customers with company and please listen everyone out there..... don't ever use this company as its customer service is disgusting. This was my first time ever having to deal with this company and I've just read on the Internet that 2 years ago in a poll they rated 3rd worst delivery service in UK, but after the 4th poll results, its been rated the worst or of all the delivery services. 57% said they had a terrible ordeal dealing with this company and would never use again.... That percentage for me has just increased even higher and hope people steer well clear and use a reputable company you can trust. Hopefully the company with fizzle out and go bust. Now that would make me happy.
