If I had the choice I would never use these cowboys.
I made a purchase on ebay and unfortunately Yodel were the courier. They attempted to deliver my parcel on the Thursday and I wasn't home - the driver popped a card through my door stating that the item required a signature and therefore it was being returned to the depot. No further information was given.
The next day I waited home all day and no parcel, Saturday and Sunday no parcel. On Monday I tried the tracking system on their website and it said that my parcel had been delivered (to me) on previous Friday and gave a time.
This was absolute lies. I thereafter tried to call customer services but you cannot actually speak to anyone. You can however put in your item number and an automated system gives you the status - it's been delivered it said.
I then went on to a web chat. The staff member coukd not tell me where the parcel was and that I should check with my neighbours.
Now if the driver had actually delivered the parcel to me I would have it yes? So why was I told to check with my neighbours?
Moreover if the driver really did deliver the parcel to me then I would have signed for it as the calling card stated, or there would have been a picture taken? When I put this to the advisor they said they were not taking signatures due to covid. So where is the picture?
No answer to that. They have opened up an investigation and I know it'll be useless as they are.
