So far the worst courier delivering in London. Ordered clothing online and was waiting for delivery. Checked online after 4 days and discovered that they claimed that they "could not deliver parcel" and sent it back to the online store. This is an ABSOLUTE LIE! They DID NOT call me on the mobile number provided, DID NOT leave a card and obviously DID NOT try to redeliver the parcel. I was expecting another parcel from another online vendor and the courier they engage called me on the number I provided on my order and I was able to have my parcel delivered. Yodel's driver just could not be bothered and probably did not even turn up at my address for whatever reason. Because of this dereliction of duty to provide a reasonable courier service, the online company could only refund my money as they do not resend parcels sent back to them by the courier. I contacted Yodel and the customer service person did not even read my query and just basically told me to contact the online store although it was Yodel's responsibility to deliver the parcel and failed to do so. The problem with online stores which tender their delivery services, they often go with the cheapest bottom-of-the-barrel cowboys who call themselves couriers but do not have any standards to adhere to and no oversight. Unless the failed deliveries as a result of poor courier service costs the company more money than changing couriers they'll ignore customers who suffer as a result of this poor service. Yodel is an utter failure as a courier and some oversight has to be exerted on these companies who are making a profit from poor service.
