Yodel said the courier ’handed the parcel to the customer’. I was not in when they said they ‘delivered the parcel’. I did not receive any communication that they were delivering the parcel. There was no note left at my house. When I rang Yodel, they said “the tracking says the parcel was delivered”. After a number of calls, one adviser said they would need to do an internal investigation and this would take up to 48 hours - but assured me I would get an email response. I didn’t receive any communication from them, so I called them again and all they said is the parcel SHOULD NOT have been left in an unsafe place (on the pavement) and the courier SHOULD HAVE had a signature. They then said the company/person who sent it would need to make a claim. No explanation was given to me why the courier left a large parcel outside my door which is the middle or a row of cottages on the pavement. The sender paid for a tracked signed for service. I asked to speak to a manager and they said no manager was available. I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life and I am not young! Stay clear of Yodel!!
