I have a very important birthday surprise party in 3 days and I live over 150miles away from the venue and family so planning is slightly difficult but making it work. The reason for this bit of information is that its important to note that I am travelling down the night before to start preparations the day of. I paid extra for 3 working day delivery, come to find the day of delivery Yodel have no record of even receiving it. Of course I went straight to the seller (Who were AMAZING!) she did some digging and found out that they sent it off 5 days ago (Friday) and Yodel have had it for that long also, just sitting there.. not even scanned in.
So I have been checking my phone all day for an update, low and behold delivery is now scheduled for SATURDAY! I get straight onto the phone, of course you cant speak to anyone, they don't like dealing with complaints only a robot to tell you cheerily that its arriving 3 days later than planned. So I go to the webchat.
The customer service is unbelievably awful. I explained the problem to customer support, when it said it was going to arrive, my travel plans the occasion it was for and how it was meant to be here TODAY he didnt take a lot of notice and instead ignored me, the content of my message and just simply informed me that "As I can see that the expected delivery date is of 3rd of Dec, I would request you to please wait for that you'll get your parcel"... Is he serious?
I already know that.. What I want is for you to fix the problem as I have already said, and I need it tomorrow. Anshu's reaction to my replies were consistent at least, just telling me over and over again how its the 3rd of December. Not even an apology or even trying to find some sort of resolution. Just another jobsworth on the other end of a computer not willing to help customers, but instead but find satisfaction hindering them.
I hope you are ashamed of yourselves Yodel, because if it wasnt for the fantastic customer service I received from the supplier, the party I've had planned for several months would of been ruined because of your lack of care, communication and sheer unwillingness to help.
Tell me WHY my large order that I paid extra to be delivered on time was sitting in your warehouse for 5 days undisturbed and not even checked in? How could you give that little of a s**t of your customers to not even train your staff to try and find resolutions? I want answers for your incompetency!!! Anyone reading this, please avoid Yodel. I was at the point of being so stressed I cried, not what anyone needs.
