UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSAFE DELIVERY SERVICE
My parcel was left in the front of the main entrance door of our apartment building and of course someone stole it. Yodel delivery even didn’t contact me when they delivered it, they just left it in the front of the main entrance where it is completely unsafe and unprofessional.
Plus Yodel delivery service had a delay of one day. As I was chatting with them, they said: “Signature is not required for the delivery so in this case, driver can leave the parcel in a safe place. My best advice for you would be to reach out to your seller and advise them of what has happened. What will happen is that they will in turn reach out to us and together we will come up with the best possible solution for you.” Which kind of solution can they find for stolen parcel?! And what he basically means is if signature is not required, then they can do anything with your parcel and they can leave it in insecure places where someone can easily steal it. After everything and going back and forth with them this is what they replied:
“On behalf of Yodel, I would like to extend my sincerest apologies. This is not the experience that we want you to have with us. We are looking forward to serving your parcel deliveries better in future.” No matter how big value has your parcel.
