My parcel was due for delivery between 10:47am & 12:47pm today. I was tracking this delivery and when the driver was 1 stop away the message changed to "at the depot". I opened a web chat to be told that the driver attempted to deliver my parcel which was untrue. Apparently they had no way to contact the driver (who would still be less than a mile away at this point) to ask them to redeliver and that I would need to take another day off for them to 'reattempt' tomorrow.
This is not the first time this has happened with Yodel, the delivery service and also customer service is often very poor!
I may also add that this is a large item and therefore can not be left in a safe place etc as needs to be signed for.
