INCOMPETENT!
Yet again, Yodel have proved they they are completely unreliable.
I received a notification yesterday saying that my parcel would be delivered today (16th). I checked again on the tracking and it said "arriving today". No time slot was given.
Due to the delivery drivers completely ignoring my instructions to leave in a safe place, and instead, leaving my parcels on the front doorstep in full view of the street on four seperate occasions, I was very reluctant to go out today but I had to. I had to check my phone every 10 minutes to check the tracking and make sure my parcel wasn't sat on my doorstep. I was out from 12pm - 6pm. It's now 10.30pm and my parcel hasn't been delivered. So, tomorrow, I'll have to check my phone every 10 minutes again. Even though I will be at home, they never knock on my door. They just leave the parcel on the doorstep. I only know it's there because I check the tracking.
I have complained 4 times now on live chat and just get an apology and get told they can assure it won't happen again but it does, always.
Someone from Yodel replied to my last post on here saying the same things but nothing changes.
Unfortunately, some items I order don't say which delivery company they use. If I knew they use Yodel, I wouldn't order. If anyone from Yodel reads this review, I suggest they look into to the delivery driver for my area. Maybe teach him how to read instructions. How he thinks it's ok to leave parcels on a doorstep, a few steps away from the street for any passerby to take really puzzles me.
I'd best put my phone on charge now ready for the every 10 minute check on the tracking tomorrow (if it turns up atall) so I can run out and grab my parcel before someone else does!!
