I made an order at Zaful on the 11th June and the order came on the 7th July which is a lot longer then expected. Before I could get the order I had to pay an import tax/fee (£28) for my order which was £93 even though the delivery was 'free'. They have hidden this import tax/fee (which they state is completely the customers responsibility) in their terms and conditions. When I raised a ticked with them about this fee, specifically asking if I would have to pay this fee if I return items, they stated that the sender pays the fee for you from Hong Kong then they essentially hold your package until you pay the fee or your package will be destroyed. Therefore, you have no choice but to pay the fee as you cannot cancel your order. When asking them about a refund if I return items, they would not explain to me what the policy is, but said I would have to take pictures of each item, with the tag and size label, and could only receive a refund if there were discrepancies from the website. They also stated 'there is no need to return items, we will give you points on your zaful account' even though I clearly stated I would never shop from them again because of the high import tax. Don't shop at Zaful! Their customer service is awful and there are hidden costs and long delivery times!
