— ZERO STARS — 0️⃣👌 That’s a zero from me to them, zero stars , zero service , ZERO !!!!!! I RECEIVED ZERO I’m giving them zero I was charged right away $321.74 for zero people to come out and put zero auxiliary batteries in , Okay initial time will be 8:30 A.M —— 9:30 I call , “ Oh Sorry tech is running late it will be 11:00 “ 2:00 P.M 5 and a half hours later from original time given “ Tech is on his way , I said forget it cancel my service , they now want to charge me $99 , for what? for canceling . I didn’t cancel !! nobody ever showed up you’re not charging me not one penny .

If I could give a zero rating, I would. I was stuck in midtown manhattan in a parking garage with what I thought was a dead battery. Called these folks and the nice man on the phone said someone would be out between 11am and 12:30pm. Just in case there was some other problem, I'd have time to get to a mechanic. He was also supposed to test the battery first, and if I didn't need it, I would only be charged for the service call. At 1, I called again. Tech is on his way. Called at 2, now the tech is in the Bronx working on another service call, they have no idea when he's getting here. He finally showed up at 5:30, after all the shops were closed. I asked him to check the battery first, he said no, he already bought it so I would have to pay for it one way or the other. It ended up NOT being the battery, it was the starter motor. So on top of an unnecessary service that made me wait all day, I had to pay for a tow out of manhattan, a motel room since I'm not from here, and the repair on my vehicle. Asked for a partial refund, but on the one and only occasion I got someone on the phone, all sales are final. And to add a cherry on top, when I finally got home and took a look at the new battery, it's not even the one they sold me. This battery is a used $85.00 Autozone off-brand, not a $247 DieHard. This service is a scam and they are not even accredited by the BBB. Take a look at all the reviews and you can see for yourself what they do to people in need.

Their service was excellent. On a cold winter day with a dead battery in my car they gave me the battery I needed at a great price. Also the tech came to my house and installed it. If I used the dealership the cost would have been hundreds more and I wouldn't have had the car to use the next day. So glad I used them and recommend them highly.

Had an unpleasant experience with 1-800-Battery. The technician did not arrive on time, had to place multiple calls before he was on his way. They asked for more money just before arriving at the location. The tech came in his private car, no id, no uniform. Overall, I am not happy with their service and customer support.

Serviceman Kamala was great. Kept me informed on what he was doing and was personable and kind. Great customer service from a person who seemed happy to be doing his job, a rarity now.

*** = 3 stars My technician was late and it initially showed that the visit had been completed even though he had not arrived. I freaked out and then saw multiple messages online that said the company was a fraud. I was terrified as I had work the next day and did not have a suitable back up plan. Luckily, my technician did show up later (i texted and called the company) and replaced my battery. Car is running fine 2 weeks later without issue.

Very easy to use this service. The customer service was great and helpful too. Installer was very friendly and checked old battery first and gave us a couple of options. We ended up just having him change out the battery for a new one and it was quick and easy. Great service all around!

So easy! I understand that the young man who came and switched out the battery came over from Orlando. I do wish there was a way to leave a tip--I never carry cash. He did a great job!

Installer reversed polarity of battery and connected to wrong place. Blew system some way, had car toed yesterday but Weil to Hendrix Suburu Hoover. Hendrix ordered replacement system which will delivered in 2-3 days. I may need to rent a replace the vehicle. Wife ill and I need made transportation. Going to Hendrix to get rental. Thanks K Key

Worked out much better than expected. Ordered online - pretty easy. They provided timely (next-day) delivery and installation at my home. Tech arrived on time and installed a new battery without a hitch. Not a service you want to use - i.e. dead battery, car not working - but if you have to - I would highly recommend this service.

Avoid this company at all cost!!! They are a deceptive business and they use deceptive business practices. I had a dead battery in my BMW 650i. I called this company to have a tech come out and remove the old battery and install a new one. The price quoted over the phone (on a recorded line) was $377.00. I agreed to the service. Upon checking their invoice sent a few minutes later via email I found that I was being charged $397.00 plus a fee of $25.00 that was never mentioned. I immediately called to cancel the service due to breach of terms agreed upon. I was rudely told at that point that their would be a $100.00 cancellation "fee". Again, this fee had not been previously mentioned. Today I learned that they charged my credit card $451.02 for absolutely no service whatsoever. In the end they shall not receive a penny ( I immediately disputed the charge with my bank), but what a headache and hassle. Again, AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

I put in my request for a new battery online using my PC on Sunday January 8 at about 1:30 PM. I may have misinterpreted your website, but it lead me to believe that someone would be dispatched to my house to replace my battery that day. It was not until the next day that someone was sent to replace my battery. The technician did a great job, but I think your website should be clear as to when the technician will arrive.
