“Technician was great, was he arrived. Place order for battery at 730am. Said estimate was 120 minutes, but also had a 3 hour window. After 3 hours I try to reach someone. Chat online is painfully slow, 30-45 minutes before someone responds, and calling left me on hold for several minutes. I'm not sure how such a great idea, and great service could have such a massive gap between expectation and experience. Extremely disappointing that what I expected as 3 hours or less turned into an 8+ hour ordeal.”

“My car battery died at work, I am so happy this guy came in at my job. Is so convenience, I do not have to go somewhere and wait on line. It only took 5 minutes. I will use them in the future if needed. Thank you so much.”

“The Overall customer service experience was very good and the technician was excellent and highly qualified. However, the actual coordination of my appointment was handled very poorly. I initially booked an appointment for Thursday 7/28 during the hours of 4 pm-6 pm PDT. The technican was not able to show up, which would normally be fine except I was never notified by 1-800 Battery and their offices were closed when I called to confirm. Then I followed up with 1-800 Battery on Friday 7/29 to coordinate another appointment. I was told that a technician would be able to arrive on Saturday 8/1 between the hours of 8 am - 10 am PDT, I had also told the person on the phone that I specifically needed it done in the morning as I had lunch I had to get to. When Saturday came around the technician did not show up and I once again did not receive a notification from 1-800-Battery so I had to call again and schedule an appointment for Monday at 10:00am. I believe 1-800-Battery needs to learn how to coordinate with their technicians better and not offer times they will not be able to commit to, when I pointed this out to them I was told I was in an area that was "out of the way" and they had trouble getting coordinating with a technician in my area. While I can empathize the first appointment was listed as open in the 1-800-Battery calendar and I provided my location so there was no ambiguity there. Additionally, after my first appointment was missed I would expect my next one to be treated a little bit better but the second one was also missed. I would also recommend that 1-800-Battery be better about notifying customers when Appointments will be missed as well as have staff available during the hours when Technicians are active so that I a client needs to call in regarding a missed appointment a new one can be coordinated immediately rather than having to wait until the next day. I will say that on Monday the service was handled very well I received a text notification when my technician was heading towards me and when he arrived. Additionally, the Technician that did deliver my battery and installed it was excellent and very professional.”

“Had an appointment from 8am to 10am. Rep arrived at 7:15pm! Ordered a specific battery and another type was installed. Still waiting for a replacement. My rep was very polite and friendly but dispatch needs too pay attention to scheduling.”

“The battery was never installed. I requested to keep my old battery, and the serviceman refused my request. We argued and he left my old battery sitting on top of the engine, NOT INSTALLED! Now your company is charging me $99.00 for a service call. Not fair, horrible service.”

“We are right in the middle of our busy season at work and I did not have time to address my wife's auto battery issue. I found 1-800-battery very easily online and was thoroughly impressed with the ease of purchase and the speed of their arrival. I would definitely use them again.”
