“I would recommend them if you are in a bind and need a battery replaced relatively quick as you can expect to pay about $100 more than buying the battery yourself at the local parts dealer. Although they were a couple of hours later than my appointed time, the tech that came to the house was knowledgeable and very professional.”

“The truck had dead batteries and I could not start it. 1-800 Battery brought out the correct batteries within two hours of my call. The technician was knowledgable and proficient. He replaced both batteries in a few minutes and ensured they worked properly. Very pleased with the service but, like everyone, would like to see a lower price.”

“Never showed up, yet they billed my daughter. Won’t refund our money! Not sure how this company gets a 4.3 rating with reviews.io, when the Texas Better Business Bureau has a grade F and 1.21/5. Facebook also has lots of bad reviews. Don’t give them your card until service is complete and verified!”

“I appreciated the timeliness and updates of the technician. He spent a few hours here, distracted on phone calls for much of it, but did get the battery replaced and had me make sure the car starts, which it did. Warning lights were on about battery discharges but he assured that they would clear and when I asked him about programming, he said there was no need to as he'd keep the charge while swapping. I have now used the car for a couple of days and looked in the trunk and noticed several issues. * The plugs were removed but not replaced (and I could not find them in the trunk to put back). The first photo is the other side as it should be and the others show the battery side with the holes and no plugs. * From my research, everything points to battery programming being required for my make and model - for instance, https://www.bimmer-tech.net/blog/item/115-bmw-battery-replacement-and-registration * Every time I start the car, the date and time are not set and need to be reset. * A battery discharge warning comes up every time I start the car. There are no accessories plugged in. I have contacted the company 3 times and they are not responsive to fix the issues.”

“Needed a battery when our 2013 Mini died. Car was in our garage, needed someone to come to us. 1800 battery was the only place including a computer reset with the battery installation. Others said they could install a battery but I would have to take it to the Mini dealer to get the car to recognize it. 1800 battery had it in stock, ordered I’ve the phone, sent someone out within a few hours. The installer , David, was great!”

“When I placed the order online it said there was a 2-hour window available so I ordered the battery. Never heard anything back, but the receipt showed it being sent. I called and was told it would be the next day between 9&11a.m. Tech arrived at 12. It would be nice if communication were better between the tech and the customer. However, after the tech arrives the repair was taken care of promptly.”

“I called them at 11 AM on a Wednesday morning. By 12:30 PM I was good to go. Sheldon is very competent. And I was glad he was my technician.”
