They don't deserve even one star!!!!!!!! After 4years with them they sending me a lot e-mails by asking documents that they have received long ago!!!!! After a longer period of paying on time they are looking for any reason to extort more money. insurance should be lower and in this year is more expensive 30£ more in a month than last year explaining that there is more and more traffic on my street than last year. AVOID THIS INSURANCE AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took out the policy through Confused. Everything was fine, until they started querying details, such as driving licence details and NCD. They messed up the licences, claiming my son got his licence before he was born!. Then refused to accept the NCD he had as a named driver, even though Confused specifically asked about it. Started a complaint with them, which they acknowledged, then cancelled the policy on us. Utter disgrace, their customer services don't know what they are doing. Escalated my complaint to the Ombudsman. My other policy is with them as well, although it won't be at it's renewal.

Only giving a 4 of 5 because I am yet to have a claim and experience that side of things and hopefully I will never need to, But so far they have been 1st class and 5 out of 5 really

At first glance the quote appears to be a really good deal. All is well until you try to change your policy details... even 9 days before the renewal. The lady on the phone was nice enough but it was difficult to understand and she did not understand correctly at all time what was said. At the end, they charged me short of £60 for address change to the policy and a couple of other small changes. I am still struggling to find this charges on their policy = £30 or maybe £35 would be fair. Total rip off and needless to say will not be renewing with them. She also confirmed if I called a week later to renew, they would not charge me! Thanks for nothing!

Would rate zero if it was an option. Awful customer service. Do not honor quotes at all. Blatantly just make things up had 3 phone calls with 3 different reasons as to why they cancelled my policy for no reason oh but don't worry I can get it back for a significantly higher price than they first offered. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Paying cheap is exactly what you get cheap and nasty service. Will never go with them ever.

They seem to be the cheapest on all the comparison sites at the moment, so giving them a go. Booking process to get insurance was simple enough. Lets see about the rest.

I was only made aware by a letter in the post from the police warning me that my car had been spotted for not being insured!! To my horror I had been driving around uninsured for 2 months!! So I immediately purchased my new insurance with you online. When talking to one of the staff on the phone post purchase I realised I had already been your customer for the last 3 years in a row. However each year you automatically renewed my insurance. Why did you stop? I'm also curious as to why my insurance has gone UP by over £100 regardless of having no incidents or requiring any additional add ons. Surely a loyal customer's insurance goes down over time? Not impressed, especially when I was pulled over by police later that same day for something that shouldn't have to have been a problem in the first place!

I can see we tried to contact you throughout your renewal but unfortunately didn't hear back so the policy didn't renew. Our prices are worked out in a live rating system and we will always give our most competitive premium, we can only apologise if this is more than your previous years price. We’ll use your comments to help improve our service and training for our agents.

I found 1st Central through Go Compare online. They offered a very competitive price. I also telephoned the company, the company adviser was very helpful and polite. My insurance was soon setup to run as soon as my old insurance would run out. Thank you 1st Central very pleased with service.
