BE WARNED - Not happy about having to pay a "finders fee" with this company (Appliance Repair Men)! The actual appliance repairman/person that came to my home was awesome and did great work. BUT, I had to pay a $69.99 fee to A.R.M., that was ON TOP of paying for my repairman. MOST repair sevice companies deduct that amount from the total bill. And no where on their impressive website, does it state that there is a "finder fee"!!!

Do not use this company. First, it took me four times speaking with them to get them to understand the directions to our home. They arrived in a run down van with three people: a mechanic, a second man who seemed to take care of the paperwork and a woman who seemed to have no role at all. The mechanic pulled the fridge out from the wall, immediately said we needed to new compressor and we were told it would be over $1,500. No attempt was made to do any diagnostic or to offer any other possible solution. Pay the extra and call a real service contractor!

Dishwasher was not working. Called this company on a Saturday, they send a technician that afternoon with a cost of $95.00. The technician who came was in my home no more than 10 minutes said that the dishwasher pump was broken and I needed a new pump. He only opened the door of the dishwasher and looked at the controls - not sure how he immediately new the pump was broken?? He said his supervisor would call me in 30 minutes with a cost to repair. I received a call from billing asking for my credit card number to pay the $95.00 service charge. It is now 2 days later, and I still have not received the call from the supervisor with the cost to repair. $95.00 down the drain. Would never use or recommend again.

You can kiss your service fee goodbye. They will keep it if you use them or not. They will add it to the cost of the repairs and then subtract it as if it’s going to the cost of the job. I am not happy and will not use them again.

Just so people know it's not necessarily the technicians fault. It's this company's fault. They verbally agree upon something with the technician but then they backdorham once they start to sign an independent contractor agreement that has all kinds of things in it that they did not agree upon and in order for the end of technician to get paid from them, they have to sign the independent contractor agreement. What states in it they will not be paid. Very crooked company. I suggest you go find a technician yourself and don't use these guys as a middleman because your technician will not be happy and he will end up not doing your job correctly. He also will try to finish your job really quickly. He's also forced with their pay to try to repair your appliance when sometimes it's just not repairable within a reasonable price. So I suggest you use a company that's not third party

I thought these guys were local, but it is actually a call center somewhere and they send someone on their list of independent repairmen in your area to come to your house. That means no guarantees and no refunds. I paid $150 in advance for the repairmen to come to my house and fix two different appliances. The $150 was supposed to be applied to my repair cost. My washer - the guy looked at it for 10 minutes and said it would cost more to fix than getting a new one. So, I thanked him and said how about my drawer microwave. These microwaves cost over $1,000 new so yes, would have preferred to get it fixed. He looked at it for another 10 minutes and told me that it was old (12 years - that is not old in my book) and he wasn't sure he could get the part. He called me once and said he was still looking for the part. Bottom line, they never did come back and the $150 they were going to apply to the repair is gone. Afterall, if they say it can't be fixed, how can they apply the down payment that you paid to have them repair your appliance. Buyer beware!

I was fine with paying the $69.99 fee to show and diagnose the problem. After informing me what the problem was, I said okay go ahead and fix it. Shame on me for not asking how much the charge was going to be because it was just labor and no parts. The door gasket on my refrigerator had to be removed, soaked in hot water, put back in place and then dried with a hair dryer to make the gasket expand and fit tighter. The tech said that I owed him another $140.01. I asked what the hourly labor charge was and he told me $210. He said that the labor charge was that price if he was there 1 hour or three hours. Can't believe if he was there for 3 hours that the charge would have been the same. He was there for 45 minutes. I called the service department, messaged them a copy of the invoice and Christian said he would get back to me. He did but no adjustment was forthcoming. I felt like I was deceived by the technician by him remaining silent. Will never do business with them again because of this reason.

They are scammers. my fridge wasn't freezing I called them and they came out, I said to the tech if it's too expensive to fix ill pay the service call and purchase a new fridge, all the tech did was catch water from my pipe and throw on a block of ice at back of fridge then charged $308.51 then Gave me a 90 days guarantee, then the next 2 weeks my fridge stopped working I called the company tech because he also Gave me his number that's who I spoke to since finding them online, the tech said he will return , when he came he said " I saw on you tube that you need a pair for $700 plus, I said I can't pay that and showed him my recipt that he wrote, he walked out my house and say "take it up with conpany" I'm not able to get my issue resolved and I had to purchase a new fridge, please don't use these people,

Do not call this company. They will send you a contractor with no knowledge. They charge me $85 just to send the technician. When technician arrived he told me I have to pay him cash or check for another $115 dollars and he did not fix my washer. My washer still leaking water. I did call, txt send pictures to the technician but no respond. I call the company and they told me I have to deal with him they not responsible. The technician even did not give me a receipt for the work.

Price gouge, tried to replace parts that weren’t needed and didn’t even troubleshoot problem never but a ohm meter on anything, never even got his tools out just gave me a quote to fix the problem plus a lot of other things that weren’t broken. Stay away. Charged my card before even arriving at the house.

Haven't called Appliance Repairman in years- PLEASE be in business with a new name somewhere? They used to have offices in Aub/FW, Burien/Seat/Tuk, Rent/MV, + Kent/DM. All their phone #s are now re-assigned. Looking for repairman : JOHN. (nln) EXCELLENT knowledge, real FOCUSED, right to work, not much chatter. Too young to be retired by now, but claimed he had 5 kids. Maybe 5'10", thin, white guy, white hair but young-ish. Ran into him once at FW Costco maybe 6-7 years ago. FW not 'his' store so he was lost. I helped with directions. He said "you know me but I don't know you" :( Skilled and Trustworthy to the MAX. If I can't track him down, I will buy new appliances.

I called the appliance repair man to fix the oven in my house. In turn they hired Aplliance Masters LLC. The repairman came to fix the oven, while fixing it he broke another part. He wanted me to pay $100 to replace the part he broke. I told him he would have to replace it himself. He was very mad, he removed parts from the oven and left the house. He was very rude. This company hires techs without licenses. I do not recommend them. They operate under “The Appliance Repair Man” or “Appliance Masters LLC”. I would not recommend them. Stay away from them.

They were hired to repair a fridge and their repair did not stop the leak and they refused to take a look at the issue or refund the $600. They are a scam. Do not hire.

Price gouged and after calling the number for further explanations, the BBB already have them flagged for falsifying reviews AND price gouging/lying. They got the job done by being thieves and liars and had no explanation for anything that I experienced.
