“Before making a final decision, I called the number listed for 99 Bikes and spoke to a lady about the item I was looking at purchasing as it would be an online purchase unseen. The assistant was so helpful and was able to answer questions. She also went above my expectations as she went and looked at the item I was purchasing (Yakima FoldClick 2 E-Bike Tow Ball Rack) and then compared like type of bike racks. When the purchase was made, I considered the delivery was made in very good timing. Would totally recommend purchasing through 99 Bikes or giving them a call first for assistance for what might best suit you and your needs.”
“I can't fault the service I've got at the 2 stores I go to (Bayswater and Blackburn). And coz they happily beating anyone else's prices, I can't fault those either ? Also just found out they also recycle old tyres (think it's for a small fee or donation or something), so will have to clean out the garage before I go there next”
“As is normal prices and dispatch time was very good BUT packaging was very poor. Box that items were packed in was of very poor quality and as a result was split when received. Part of the order included a small 3 oz bottle of chain lubricant of which cap had not been taped for transport. Though the bottle was placed in a zip seal plastic bag, lubricant leaked out of bag and some lube was lost in transit. Hopefully 99bikes will read this review and then act to seal tops of lube bottles with either duct or insulation tape to significantly reduce the potential of leakage.”
