“Have been a customer for a number of years and am disgusted with non existant Customer Services. Recently took delivery of an item , the quality was appaling to say the least.A number of time tried to get a reply from so called Customer Services but they are ignorant. I have told them that if I didn't get satisfaction within two weeks I would cancel my accout. No answer so I have blocked them from all contact. Disgusting.”
“Very very poor service. I ordered an item online (in the past I have sent in my order form, but then if the item is not in stock, you don’t know this until a letter comes back to tell me). The item was showing in stock, so I ordered it. Next day, I got an email to tell me the item has proved so popular that they have sold out, even though I had it showing in my account (I ordered one item and it was showing 2 in my account). Ok, things happen. I received an email to say the item would be back in stock on the 16th February (original order was 9th January). I waited, and questioned the error in my account. In the meantime I have have had 2 bills (both showing this item, and the second one even had a service charge added). Long story short, the 16th came, nothing so today (the 21st February ) I emailed for an update. The answer was, yes the item came back in stock on the 16th. Silly me, did I expect that in the 5 days since it came back in stock, they may, as it seems to be a popular item and I probably are not the only person waiting for it, actually tried to process the order. After contacting them, and been giving all the excuses, I was offered the option of waiting or, get this, they would be nice enough to cancel the order for me if I did not want it!. What the hell, so after waiting over 6 weeks now, would I really want to cancel it. If this was the case I would have cancelled it six weeks ago, and save myself being messed around. Customer services? What a joke. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. (Even 0 would be too many)”
“Jumper I ordered was massively over large. Returned at my own cost. Items re-ordered never received. More cost telephoning Damart three times. Hermes never found my house (although previous parcel was left on doorstep while I as away). Order now cancelled. Has ow cost me at last £12. Needles to say I will not buy from Damart again and I do not trust Hermes.”
“I attempted to contact Denmark regarding non-delivery of items. The contact link on the website did not work, to tephone costs 13p per minute so I wrote a bad review.
There was an immediate reply to this review which was most helpful In that it gave a free phone number.
It was difficult to get through to a person on this number but when I did I was told that my order had gone to my billing address and not the delivery address. This is apparently always the case with a first order but there was no mention of this anywhere on the website or when I made my first order.
I ordered thermal vests to be delivered to Scotland where I need them Now. Instead they went to London where they are not needed, and I am not at that address for another week. I will not be ordering from Danmark again.”
“This is the second review I have written regarding your button up cardigans, the first concerning two of the same type which have either gone in a hole or are starting to come apart at the seams. I have two others of the same type which are now manifesting one or other of these problems. I have reported these problems but customer services have never got back with me. They are fairly new.”
“1 coat was ordered online, a couple of days later customer service rang to query an order for garden furniture as well. They were told that only a coat was ordered. The coat arrived, and a few days later Hermes (says it all) left the garden furniture without seeing anyone. No-one seems to answer the phones. Useless, will never use them again.”
“I have decided to do a review on Damart due to my wife's frustration, she has ordered clothing for her 90 year old Auntie, the first package arrived and it was wrong, they apologised, wrong trousers in the correct packaging, this has now happened twice again, even after numerous phone calls weve just recieved the wrong item again, the company obviously has a real

“Followed Damart instructions to arrange a return with Hermes which after waiting in all day they didn't pick up. Complained to Damart who said they had only just been made aware of parcels not being delivered so I woud be given a postage refund but I would have to call Hermes to arrange it. Unable to contact a real person or send an email to Hermes and after calling Damart several times and sending emails they have refused to take the responsibility for the refund and keep referring me back to Hermes. I bought the goods from Damart and will never use this company again as they should take the responsibility for delivering and returns of their goods.”
“I will never order with them again. They charge £3.99 delivery. Then £2.99 return. Then parcel doesn't get picked even tho I paid to return. If you can't try it on should be free returns. Then they use an 0871 which isn't free with any provider. Rip off company”
“Ordered 4 dresses and paid for them at the shop in Bingley. Was told that they would certainly be with me before my holiday in 9 days time. After phone call today was told that that order had not been put into the system until the day after ordering. 9 days have now passed and I am still waiting for delivery. As I am on holiday from tomorrow, wonder when/where they leave the package. A totally inefficient service, my first and certainly my last order!!! Will have to return to Bingley to get a refund - after my return from holiday.”
“I ordered a skirt and was sent a blouse and then to add insult to injury I can return it at my own cost of 2.99 or phone the help desk at 13p per minute to arrange a "free" return”
“I ordered 2 t shirts size medium. I was sent 2 extra large instead. The bar code on the sticker was correct but the size on the actual packaging and the items inside were not.
I emailed customer service asking how I could return these goods free of charge as it was not my error. I received an answer about 24hours later asking me to give a date the courier could collect the items, giving 48 hours notice. I replied promptly.
2 days later I hadn't heard if this had been arranged so I rang customer service at a rate of 12p per minute, to be told it hadn't been arranged but the collection details would be put through.
Later that day I received an email from a 3rd member of customer team to confirm the collection would be on the day requested and would be free of charge.
It is now 7pm on the day of collection and I am still waiting for the parcel to be picked up!!!”
“Used to be very pleased with jeans as size and quality was good for me. However, very disappointed with latest purchase of two pairs - material is now flimsy, pockets very small and size smaller than previous . Would have to buy next size up for real comfort now but then around legs would be too baggy. Also bought some boxer shorts - size ok but again material very flimsy. Overall not very pleased. Web site hit and miss, delivery takes ages, quality gone down, and object to charge for returns.”
“Damart state on the returns page. Attach returns label to return unwanted items from your order. They do Not state that you have to pay the return postage yourself. I returned a light weight jacket, a pair of shoes and 2 t.shirts. As they were not as expected.
Had to pay £14.00 at the post office. (cheapest rate possible.)
Totally unacceptable.!
Complained to customer services. Reply was extremely un-helpful.
Avoid. No wonder they have so many bad reviews on the internet.”
