“Damart trying to cheat my 89yr old mother out of £171 for goods she has already paid for. When she rang up the women on the phone was very rude and insisted she owed this money my mum is disabled and now has to travel to the bank to get copies of statements to prove she has actually paid. Damart should get their act together and stop harassing innocent elderly folk who have paid .”
“I have been a satisfied customer of Damart for years but have been disappointed in the quality and sizing of the items I’ve received in the last couple of years. Due to the inconvenience of returning items I have made a decision not to place any further orders.”
“Unavailable items still on display.
In stock items upon purchase gets cancelled because of unavailability.
Don’t they update their website, stock and pages?
Clothing is not true to size. Order one size bigger to what you usually wear.
Unless items are on sale the prices aren’t exactly great, given the quality of the fabrics.”
“Disappointed with two jumpers. Although sizes were spot on and reasonable quality, the colours were dull as dishwasher. In the advert they were beautiful bright pastel shades, but in reality nothing like it. I wouldn't recommend as I feel the photos in the supplement from which I ordered were misleading as they were clearly photoshopped for effect.”
“Very unhappy with so called free gift sent to me as an alternative to original gift now out of stock
They are producing leaflets of so called free gift as an inducement to place an order and pay for 0871 calls
The free gift was a pair of pyjamas and I have been sent
2 dot to dot books
Do Damart think these books are an alternative to ladies pyjamas when they are still lots of similar pyjamas being advertised in their catalogue. They must think you are stupid to accept this alternative . In fact I do not believe there ever were any pyjamas to be offered as free gift
This is an insult and a I have just been on phone for quite a while at my expense 13p per minute to tell Damart so
I have been promised a free collection of my order which I am now sending back unopened because I am so angry with these unwanted books
If the goods are not collected I will not return them at my expense and they can try take me to court
to”
“Followed Damart instructions to arrange a return with Hermes which after waiting in all day they didn't pick up. Complained to Damart who said they had only just been made aware of parcels not being delivered so I woud be given a postage refund but I would have to call Hermes to arrange it. Unable to contact a real person or send an email to Hermes and after calling Damart several times and sending emails they have refused to take the responsibility for the refund and keep referring me back to Hermes. I bought the goods from Damart and will never use this company again as they should take the responsibility for delivering and returns of their goods.”
“I have been very unhappy with Damart over my last purchase. Unfortunately the item is too tight and I need to return. Despite offering a free returns label and information concerning free returns all over the paperwork, no such label was enclosed. The only label they sent requires you to affix postage. Surely this is not right. I am now going to have to pay to return the item, whereas other customers will presumably be getting free returns!”
