“I’d rate these a zero if I could , I’d even go as far to say blatant SCAM! , sent my phone of to them months ago they was quick to send the boxes and postage packaging out but the money was never seen ! Once the phone was gone no money no phone no contact , seems below people have had nothing but bad run ins with this scamming company , if only I’d seen these reviews before. Do not send you old phone to this false misleading and down right scamming company! Save your time effort and money Hopefully this helps atleast one person out”

“My phone was damaged in transit and Envirofone told me to take it up with Royal Mail as they claimed their packaging met the correct standards. After speaking to Royal Mail it became clear very quickly that Envirofone's packaging doesn't meet Royal Mail standards. When I went back to Envirofone they responded that their instructions said to add extra bubble wrap, when I double checked it clearly doesn't. Envirofone have now stopped responding to my emails and I'm left with a broken phone. Either avoid or don't trust their packaging and use your own.”

“BEWARE DO NOT USE! We do get a few phones to recycle but never used this mob before. We sent a phone and heard nothing we contacted them only to be told there was a fault (we had checked before sending and there was not) and they wouldonly pay £22 instead of the £109 qouted! They send they had emailed us (we log all emails definetely nothing) they said they would return the phone as we asked, weeks later we called again and they said they had texted us (again never received) and sent the £22 absolute scam!”

“Couldnt have had a worse experience with this company. Ordered a phone on next day delivery. Over a week later and it still hasnt arrived. Absolutely no contact from.Envirofone in this time, i had to keep.contacting them. Customer services couldnt have been less interested in helping and in the end ive just asked for a refund. I will never use this company again. Have been left over a week with no phone which has lost me money and caused me loads of hassle. Will stick to Giff Gaff from now on, wish to god i'd ordered from them to begin with!”

“I sent off my phone etc, they offered me originally £68 for my phone. After they had received it the price went down to £17 in which they said it had a photo issue , which was very new to me . I asked them to return to me , which they did very promptly. I then took into my local market offered me £50 . I feel envirofone are not to be trusted and best to shop around.”

“I had used envirofone in the past but this time its like the company have changed. They had always been honest and decent however this time when returning a £190 phone they adjusted the offer to £38 and said it will be automatically accepted unless action isn't made. you can't decline this offer online. As soon as I called to reject they offered to increase the £38. This isn't the actions of an honest company.”

“Avoid this company They took my money and sent a faulty phone. Because I don’t own a printer I can’t return it. Appalling customer service. Phone ring and rings but no answer.”

“Sent iPhone 7 off which worked perfectly. Didn’t hear from them so logged in to find offer reduced from £85 to £21! Rang & they claimed screen burn and swollen battery! Asked them to send back and won’t use them again.”

“Wish I had read these reviews before using envirofone. Sent them my galaxy s7 edge in pristine condition, even had the motherboard replaced last year. However I then get an email from envirofone claiming screen burn and a reduced payment by 75%. I see this is a common theme with them. I am sick of these companies short changing us! Do yourself a favour and give these cowboys a wide berth. The only reason I gave a star is that I cant review without giving some sort of rating. Reality = 0 stars”

“I have sent them my pristine condition Galaxy S8...from the day I got it it went into a spigen case and vnever came out, in fact the rear of the phone still has its protective wrap covering the s/no and imie barcode sticker, I took images of the device including the screen showing no visible damage and a white screen with black writing and on none of these does it show any damage. Today I received an email reducing the £106 offer to £26.50...stating that there was screen burn. I contacted them and they were very confrontational especially when o said I had images that showed no damage. I have asked for my phone back and warned that it had better be in the state I sent it, namely with the rear of the phone having the device details sticker, as I was told all they did was visibly inspect my device. I am appalled at the way they have tried to not pay the agreed sum by faking a fault. I am now expecting to receive my device in a different state to how I sent it to them....”

“I bought 2 phones this week one from Giff Gaff which turned up the following day and one from Evirofone which I waited in for Saturday, Sunday,Monday, and Tuesday. I had real trouble getting hold of anyone at all and after hours was told it would definitely be delivered Monday. Then Tuesday and it has still not arrived. I will never buy anything from Envirofone again and good luck to you if you decide to give them your business.”

“Same experience as others. Sent a pristine 8 plus and they reduced offer from £225 to £56 claiming a damaged screen. The screen was perfect. Steer clear of this company is my advice.”

“I've sent 2 separate phones to them both in perfect condition other than one very tiny mark on the front of me be of them. I have always looked after my phone's and they were perfectly. Good offer originally received but once phone was sent in offered 75% less and told it was suffering from screen burn. I've asked for phone to be returned as nothing wrong with it.....very dissatisfied and annoyed with Enviro phone!!”

“Would give 0 stars if I could. My phone is in excellent new condition knocked me down from £215 quote to £54 saying screen led damage I have plenty of photos of it before it went. Not a single mark. Con!”

“Would give ZERO stars if I could. Lost my phone and it took numerous contacts for them to eventually find it even though I had to pay about £10 to get it insured at their 'valuation'. Found it again, then claimed a load of nonsense about screen burn and reduced a perfectly grand working phone from £220 to £55. Scandalous. Con-men. DO NOT USE.”

“if i could give negative stars i would. i posted a phone over three months ago and envirofone initially claimed to have misplaced it which is why there was a delay in processing my money. every time i have emailed since i get told it is being passed to the processing team and i will hear back in a few days. i just want them to send me my phone back now this is too much hastle. I have NEVER gotten an email from this 'processing team' if one exists. why is nobody in your company actually able to respond to customers.”

“Absolutely shocking company. Had a phone from these for 6 weeks and battery was going sent it back under warranty to be told that it was invalid due to the smashed screen.... It wasn't send back like that. Asked for video evidence and convinced it wasnt my phone that they showed me. The phone was on in the box which is strange as the phone wouldn't stay on for more than a minute. Had to pay for return p & p and still with a broken dead phone. Would not deal with again..... Keep away from this company.”
