USE AMAZON INSTEAD. Absolutely disgusting experience. I returned (or tried to) two unwanted items, both sent in the same parcel. Spent three weeks telling them this and they still claim they've only received 1. They've got thieves working in their returns department is my only conclusion.

Absolutely useless customer service - very delayed response to e-mails and a phone number that is not answering. AVOID USING THE ONLINE SERVICE.

Appalling customer service they take days to answer emails there is now no calls being answered because of Covid-19, it seems to get blamed for everything. Poor excuse. They are not interested in providing customer service trying to get a refund for over 1 week. Avoid this company does not care

I ordered a dvd from HMV 11 days ago. Still nothing. I thought HMV were better than this. Amazon can still get my orders to me next day delivery. My son has been very very ill and we thought this would cheer him up being forced to stay in bed on his birthday. Thanks for ruining my sons Birthday HMV!

They cancelled my order. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or contact me with a resolution. I raised a complaint, and nobody was interested in giving me customer service. Absolutely dire way to treat customers. After shopping with them for 20 plus years I will never, ever use them again after this experience. Unfortunately, everybody is giving Amazon the monopoly because of the awful consumer experiences with other companies like HMV.

ordered dvd in time for christmas eg 2week ago got told they can order the item still tiday waiting for item rang boxing day got told computers down typical of a hull shop thought that by now new iwner would if had a better supplier also had the hmv outlets running smooth, even the staff dont chase goods up neither hmv total rubbish not even worth one star the dvd irdered was for a friends son to go towards his stocking filler but in the end very disappointed in the services

Last minute shopping in Basildon for a couple of presents...couldn’t find the DVD I was after so asked at the tills and was told there were 17 in stock so they should be somewhere...and that was it. Zero customer service, no wonder the company is in trouble...I won’t bother visiting again in the future

ordered item from hull branch, get told noorder in my name speak to manager item ordered in wrong details how stupid and pathetic can hmv get considering ive ordered from them for along time wont be long before hmv closes again poor quality services

HMV Middlesbrough advertises in massive letters ‘ 2 band T shirts for £20’. However, when you get to the till they tell you you that it only applies to the ones on the left hand side!!!!!!!! - there’s no sign to say that and alm the T shirts are together. Disgraceful- it’s illegal to advertise like that, but the staff couldn’t care less. Will never shop there again - terrible store.

I ordered a parcel to be delivered 30/11/2017, I was informed it was dispatched 02/12/2017, I never got it.

1) Search icon is not immediately noticeable. 2) After adding a product to the basket, it is difficult to jump back to the "store" to search for more. 3) cannot sort searches of products by ALPHABETICAL order. 4) The website is vague - get "Joe Public" ti do testing of website.

Hmv Leeds LS1 staff member gossiped about me on the staff radio after I took my pram upstairs instead of using the lift, very upset as I was not rude to anyone I heard him say he had to tell me about taking pram upstairs as I didn't have the sense to use the lift, i only over heard because I was looking around near another staff member who was holding the radio

STAFF ARE THE RUDEST, MOST SARCASTIC PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET SPECIFICALLY A FEW OF THE BELFAST EMPLOYEES. I HAVE ONLY HAD A COUPLE OF GOOD EXPERIENCES WITH THEM AND ALL WITH THE SAME STAFF MEMBER WHO WAS LOVELY, BUT THE REST ARE TRASH

Ordered a CD. Didn't go for the free delivery as needed the CD quickly and paid £5 for next day delivery. IT ARRIVED 48 hours later! NOT NEXT DAY! Customer service ARROGANT AND RUDE! Will never NEVER use HMV ever again!

Ordered and paid for a Bob Dylan live 1966 CD box set, received nothing, phoned to enquire, they didn't know when it would be in stock so I cancelled order and received a refund, Was charged £5.25 for the call! Got the item cheaper elsewhere. If I phone them to complain, it will cost me "£4.54 access charge". How crooked is that? For cash CD and vinyl shopping will go to independents in future and for the internet, will use Amazon as they are a reputable company. Sp angry, they are unaccountable, inapproachable and are even now taking up my time and energy (grrr)!
