“What My Trendy Phone conveniently do not list on their product page is the fact that they ship products to you from other EU countries, meaning a longer delivery time than they advertise.
Delivery time for this particular case was advertised at 2-3 days (buying for a brand new phone and wanted it ASAP). Purchased it on Monday, didn't receive it until Tuesday the following week... where it turns out it came all the way from Denmark, rather than the UK as advertised.
Good prices, terrible business practices. Be more open about where you dispatch from, so that we can have a more realistic idea of how long it will take to arrive. In this instance, I would have spent the few quid extra on Amazon to get it delivered the next day, had I known.”

Alis Jacobs (customer service representative) is a waste of space as she will walk away rather than fix an easy issue. My trendy phone let me down on every level. “Ordered Sony case June 4 ,no email sent to acknowledge order so thought not been processed. When credit card statement received in July money had been taken out by mytrendyphoneuk so called them for my case.As had no tracking number they refused to honour order even though they took money from me.Suggest do not use them !”
“If I could have marked no stars then I would have. Promised 2-3 days delivery by royal mail. What a joke. What they don't tell you is it's really coming from Denmark! Then they fob you off with please just wait might take a little longer than expected. Worst customer service ever. “Really awfull service. Tried paying by PayPal 3 times and their website just froze . I then paid by card and the money was pending to be released by my bank. Luckily it wasn't released. I then received an email saying the following

“Would not recommend ordering from this company. Sadly they are not honest about whether items are in stock. Part of the decision making on purchases is naturally based around when you need the product. I placed an order because they told me it was in stock and would be delivered in 2-3 business days. 5 business days later when it had not arrived I contacted them. I was told it was being sent from Germany and they have no way of knowing when it would arrive. If it matters to you when you get your order, shop elsewhere”
“Terrible experience with a simple phone repair.
Sent a phone for a cracked screen repair. Firstly they claim not to receive items for over a week despite me sending it via Special Delivery with confirmation it arrived the next day! What's going on there?!
Then they took age to repair and and then return it. Within a week or so the new screen started playing up. This got worse until it become completely unusable. So we returned the phone.\
Again, a week or so to even confirm they've received it and then another week later we get told they were "rejecting your complaint as there is physical damage". No indication or explanation of this supposed damage. No reply to my reply.
So I've given them money, they've wasted weeks of my time, done a useless job, wasted more time and now won't even come good on their supposed guarantee but rather choose to blame ME for their shoddy work.
Absolutely appalling. Avoid at all costs. How I now wish I had not ignored all the poor reviews. Expensive mistake!”

“What a disastrous outfit to deal with. Took my order by credit card, as stated on their website, money was taken from my card and then when I ring to enquire about order status they tell me they have cancelled and want me to pay by bank transfer - with all the risks that that entails!
They blame 'security risks with credit cards' - which as we all know is just rubbish. What they are actually scared of is that if you have problems with the item, its description or it is just not genuine, a credit card transaction gives the purchaser secure protection in the event of a dispute. If they can get you to pay by bank transfer then there is no way you can get redress. Just look at the other reviews. If you still want to deal with this company after all that then I wish you the very best of luck - I am sure you will need it.

The website says Royal Mail, but on checking via Live Chat it is in fact Royal Mail 2nd Class and even this is a lie and my glass screen protector arrives with a Denmark address via Prioritaire post, a full 10 days from the date of order. Despite being unreasonable to my suggestion of a solution, the Live Chat is a free and courteous service. IF YOU DO NOT MIND waiting for your item, I would recommend My Trendy Phone, at a pinch.”

“Would not accept Credit card or Paypal as payment options, despite claiming they do, and claimed its more secure to just do a bank transfer to their bank account for the money (note, this would not be linked to any actual transaction). “Ordered a Samsung S6 repair on 4th January costing £160. 22 days later and still no repaired phone despite their claim that they turn around repairs in 2-5days. Finally managed to speak to customer services today to be told the part is out of stock, this was clearly listed on their website and I didn't pay attention when I submitted my order. I remember checking very clearly and there was no mention of this. What's more they will send my phone back but I get charged the postage. This company is shocking - avoid”
