Hi everyone, please book with care. I am bitterly disappointed with my booking through Prestigia. They advertised and charged $100 a night for a 5 day stay at the Sea Cliff Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The actual room (Village) is in an adjacent shopping complex, with retail shops, most of which are vacant. There is no security at the entrance, and anybody can gain access coming off the street. The room is on the second floor, there are no lifts (at least three flights to climb) in this complex. There is no view to speak of. I had to pay an additional $60 a night for the room I thought I was going to get. Awful start to what is meant to be an epic holiday

Hello everyone, we too experienced Prestigia as a scam with our booking at a Wyndham hotel in New Orleans. We arrived at the hotel and the reservation didn't exist. We are working with Wyndham and Prestigia to get our refund and Prestigia is not cooperating. Please please report your incident to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds. International crimes should be reported here: https://www.econsumer.gov/en/Home/FileAComplaint/1#crnt Even if we can't get our money back, we need to stop Prestigia from getting away with this.

Got a reservation to a hotel and once they came online they messaged me to tell me they had "no more space" for that hotel and couldn't honor the booking (even though the hilton website said there was space). The price had increased on their website from 178$ to 400$. Which leads me to believe it was a price mistake and they didn't want to honor it because they'd lose money. As everyone else has stated, they sent me an email with some BS saying "Please note that the high level of cancellations and the daily refund limits imposed by the bank will cause an unforeseen delay in the processing of your refund." I've already submitted a chargeback on my credit card. I suggest never dealing with this company.

If you want to waste your time and money then book through them. They are hopeless and after you book you get all the surprise cost added with no customer service at all if you need them. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH PRESTIGIA TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. I wish I had checked the review before.

They don’t disclose their fees on their booking page. You think you are paying for the hotel, but a portion of it it is to them. It only appears after the booking! I tried contacting them the same day. They don’t pick up their phones. It is ONLY after the booking that they email you the amounts how the money is distributed. So, their lowest prices advertised online end up way higher than expected. They have the timeclock on the website to rush you through the process! Many fall victims to it as it appears below with the reviews listed…

Can we give them a zero, read the warnings people. I booked with them my hotel didn't have the room i booked ready, the hotel refunded me as i left and went to another hotel, they are refusing to refund me. I even went through amex who temporarily credited me but it just turned out to be a big mess. Never got my $436 back

Hi had to cancel my booking which was in August and still waiting for a refund. They do not reply to emails and every time I am told the refund should be within the week. They take 1 minute to take your money and it has been 4 and half months and no refund

THESE GUYS SCAM YOU AND DONT REFUND!!!!! take a look at these reviews and those on other sites, just go on tripadvisor and type prestigia in and its the same story. book with someone else reputable as these will let you down

Reservations are easy, but refunds are almost impossible. You have to have a lot of patience. Please check other people's reviews. I'm still in touch and waiting for a refund. I am a web programmer. Once the system is built, it takes less than a second to refund. They say refunds are being delayed due to Corona. Hey Prestige don't lie. Even small shopping malls can be refunded in less than a second.

I booked a room for three days in the Gold Coast in June that I had to cancel because of the pandemic. When they finally answered my emails they promised that my refund would be processed on 24 September. I still have not seen my refund.

I canceled my reservation two days after I made this reservation. They responded by email confirming the refund. Electronic refunds should take a few minutes. People have been working remotely for a year and a half. There is no excuse for not processing a credit card refund. I get email responses with excuses. Do not book through Prestigia.

Prestigia is out to scam people. I booked three rooms at the Mirage in Las Vegas 5 months ago through Prestigia. I canceled the reservation several days after it was made, and the cancellation was free. Prestigia said they would refund my deposit but I have been waiting 5 months. You cannot get ahold of these people. Tell everyone not to book reservations through this company.

Terrible company. Avoid at all cost. They are extremely hard to contact when you need to do anything for you booking. Do not use. They took over $1,000 from me even though the hotel agreed to cancel so they just claims all the hotel money. What a scam.

No refunds ever is the company’s policy!!! After doing some price compares, I found Prestigia offered the lowest rate on our group travel destination. I then referred Prestigia to my traveling group. My group purchased a total of six reservation (some with multiple rooms) at two different hotels with six months before the travel date. Unfortunately two of us needed to cancel and change our initial room reservations. The first person canceled within 48 hours and requested a refund. She was within the cancellation period and was offered a refund. But she was never pressed for the funds and only inquired once. I canceled one of the two rooms booked on my reservation with three months before the travel date (again within the cancellation period) and was told “due to COVID-19 refunds are taking longer to process”. Two months after the cancellation I sent several emails (because I could not reach anyone via phone) and was told it is being processed. Thankfully, we all arrived at our hotels and the check ins went great with no issues.. Upon returning from the trip I inquired again about my refund and was told “it is being processed”. Two weeks after the trip and after several additional emails, I received a reply that my refund would posted in 2-5 days. It’s been two weeks from that email and now I four months from refund request and I still have it to receive a refund. I contacted my credit card company and they state they could protest the charges, but I didn’t want to cancel the charge because I did receive half of the service (one of the two rooms). This could have been a five star review do to the great prices and ease of making reservations, but I will never use them again and I am still waiting for my refund.

SCAM. The actual booking went through to the property, but when you need to take them up on their “free cancellation” it is a joke. First, despite my changing the language to ‘English’ multiple times, they continued to respond in French until I stated DISPUTE at which point they begged me not to do that. They then agreed to a refund but with no specific date except, some time in the not near future. With my pushing, they eventually agreed to 60+ days. With further pushing, they said they’d grant me “special” circumstances and it’d be 15+ days. At day 16, of course, it was 30+ days. Ultimately filed the dispute with my credit card company and they refunded me; never got a refund yet from Prestigia.

IT'S BEEN 2 MONTHS - NO REFUND, NO COMMUNICATION! Terrible (Non existent) Customer Service Wish I could rate them zero stars. We booked for 3 nights in Canberra 9 weeks ago and had to reduce it by 1 night. Tried to contact Prestigia mulitple times via email and phone (unsuccessfully) to amend our booking (didn't even want to cancel it!) but couldn't get hold of anyone. Ended up having to cancel the whole booking with Prestigia and rebook directly with the hotel, costing us hundreds of extra dollars! Have been trying to get hold of Prestigia every day for the past 2 months to get our money back, but no one is responding to my emails or answering the phone! Been on hold for over 1.5 hours over 15 times! Why is no one answering the phone or responding to emails??? We now can't afford to book a family holiday as Prestigia is holding our money!

FRAUD!! I cancelled the booking within their cancellation policy. They said they are processing my refund. This was 26th June 2021. It’s going to be a month now, still don’t have my refund. Am going to report them. Complete fraud!

We used a voucher provided by Prestigia.com to rebook further accommodation and was dissatisfied when we needed to cancel again due to travel restrictions to find out the terms for cancellation was different to our original condition with the results enabling us to receive no service for our money Would not use this site and in today’s world believe they just take your money and not provide satisfaction Not happy
