“I visited my Chesterfield store Thurs 17 June 2021 I purchased clothes for my Grandson who also picked up a pair of sunglasses The lady on the till was very polite and helpful took the stickers of the glasses so he could put them on very nice friendly lady wish they were all like that .”
“I so love Primark. Visited the store today. Was cool, clean, staff busy, polite.
However?, I have never had my items thrown into my bag like I have had today?.
Had I not been with someone and people waiting to be served?. I would have told Joe to take everything out and place in bag with slightly more effort than he did?.
Not happy.
😡☹😡☹”
“Two younger members of staff on tills in Norwich store thought it was ok to have private conversations including moaning about company while other staff members serving customers. If they dont want the job quit and let someone who does have it.cls”
“X Your staff is really rude in service and do not value customers. Today on 03 may 2021 i had really bad experience with primark slough. Yesterday on 02 may 2021 i bought a ladies top from there and billed normally, at home when i tried its size was not fitted to me and I thought to change size today. I went to store for exchange size and billing person told me that the item wasn’t billed yesterday. I already gave them yesterday bill but they were keep saying its not billed and I can’t exchange or take that item with me. I told them that this may be your staff mistake but the staff started talking rudely to me and started threatening to call security. I was seeing first time this kind of behaviour though i am buying stuff from primark from long time. I ask manager to check yesterday cctv but he denied to show me footage . This is really rude that for inly 5£ item i have to get through this and that too with primark staaf mistake. I am very disappointed and disheartening with their behaviour 😞😒. You have lost your loyal customer due to your arrogant staff”
“my experience isnt with primark its the stupid people that dont want to respect the returns procedure if you dont have a proof of purchase how are the staff to know that it hasnt been picked up in store (i.e. stolen) and trying to return for exchange get a new reciept then get money back (fraud) give rhe staff a break.”
“Very disappointed with Primark return policy. I recieved a dress from primark £15 as a gift and the dress were wrong size. The next day I went to primark and wanted to do a straight exchange, it also had tags. But because I didn't have my receipt the staff refused to do the exchange without a receipt. Primark needs to upgrade the return policy and to allow returning without receipt. I also work at a retail and I understand all sorts of customer complaints. Returning any items should allow the tills to recognise which card it was paid with. Cash/gift card etc. And it should also recognise when it was purchased. Every store has it's own return policy. Returning without a receipt should be acceptable, as soon as you scan the item it should allow the tills to recognise everything. If the item were a gift the customer had the right to get a refund and have the money back on a gift card atleast????
I'm very disappointed with primark and I don't see any point shopping at primark ever again!!!”
“Today my daughter and i went into primark at Rushden Lakes , She had dress to return and had the receipt. It was dated end of sept so was slightly out of the 28 day's . In these strange time where nothing can be tried on and shops closing and re-opening , people having to isolate , couldn't believe when the woman just said no refund out of 28 days , she had receipt and still had tags on . My daughter had to self isolate shortly after she bought the dress due to severe chest infection and waiting on a corona test results. Told the lady this but she just looked her up and down and said out of 28 days so no refund and just walked away, It's a 5 pound dress . Lots of people have had problems returning things within the 28 days due to lots of reasons , i work in retail and common sense and compassion has got to play some part within these decisions, these are not normal times. 5 pound may not be a lot of money to some people but my daughter has just started Uni , i am a single parent and she only works at weekends so to her it is . The woman ( a supervisor ) was just being a jobs worth . The company needs to re think there policy and be a little bit more flexible .”
“Instead of wasting time when all the fitting rooms are permanently shut, although they could be sanitised, moan about yr naff plastic useless hangers being taken out of your garments on sale, get your staff to send numerous callous shoppers out of yr numerous shops for wearing masks under their noses, their potential killers, you’ve loads of those useless cheap nasty hangers anyway, try wood, better for the planet, fuming customer who was nagged at today by your staff in Maidstone😡”
“I lost my receipt. I asked around and everyone I talked to thought Primark would accept an exchange if goods still had tags- like most other stores.
I have found to my cost (£170.50) that Primark do not. They tracked down my purchase confirmed that a receipt was issued but because I didn’t have the physical copy - they wouldn’t exchange. Even though they had the copy receipt in store!
It was an exchange. They tracked the purchase on their computer. They asked for photos of the items with the tags. They asked for the position of the till and what the assistant that served me looked like. They asked for some numbers off the card I paid with, I supplied all this information and they were able to track down the transaction but still refused to exchange. Why did they put me to all that trouble if they had no intention of offering an exchange without a receipt! Appalling waste of time.
I know it is my fault that I lost the receipt(or my dog ate it) - I think it would have been common sense to have a happy customer by extending their goodwill instead of a very unhappy regular customer who Will never shop there again.”
“My daughter bought a jacket from Primark in Bournemouth took it back to Southampton but forgot record . Making another journey from the forest to Bournemouth we went to take it back and we’re told it was one day out. I ask you in these reading times. Also the attitude of the manager wasn’t good. Won’t be shopping there again .”
“I LOVE PRIMARK!!!
Missed them so much when they were closed in Lockdown but as soon as they opened again i went back there!
We usually go to the Primark in Bluewater and I've never experienced anything bad.
All Primark stores I've been too the staff are polite and everyone is respected.
I don't understand these people saying
'Primark are so bad cos i couldn't take something back cos it was over 28 days or i didn't have the receipt'
Surely everybody knows that normally u can't take stuff back without a receipt!!?? 🤔🤔
Personally i love Primark and will ALWAYS shop there😃😃”
“I love Primark for affordable clothes for children... As constructive feedback it would be amazing to see boys jeans that are more wide leg fitting rather than skinny fit or tight fitting... Not all boys are built skinny and equally not all boys like skinny jeans.”
“absolutely disgusting service in leeds trinity. me and my friend are two teenage girls just wanting to buy new things, basically followed around around by one of the staff with his eyes not leaving us. because we are two teens i expect they may have suspicions but following us around is unacceptable! i feel uncomfortable walking around with him constantly asking “you alright?” i’m disgusted! such a shame cause i probably would of bought many things but with staff behaving like this i don’t think ill ever be returning here as i don’t like being followed around, we were surgical masks too so there was no reason for us to be followed around.”
“COVID 19 WARNING !!! WENT INTO THE LUTON BRANCH OF PRIMARK ON SATURDAY 15 AUG 2020 AND NOTICED NON OF THE STAFF ASKED ME TO WEAR A FACE MASK ALTHOUG IT IS MANDATORY !! ALSO NOTICED A NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS WITHOUT MASKS - NICE TO KNOW PRIMARKS IS BOTHERED ABOUT KEEPING TO THE GUIDELINES AND PROTECTING THEIR CUSTOMERS”
“Primark got some nice attractive clothes but they only fit small men and boys I am a xxL but can't get into 3xl in primark thousands of men all over the country can't shop at primark and have to go to Tesco or sainsbury's”
“An elderly family member bought my 7 year daughter some leggings and a top, as she Is tall for her age they didn't fit. My elderly family member couldn't find the reciept so within a week of the purchase I tried to return the items not for a refund but an exchange, they still had tags and labels on them and you could clearly tell they were from primark.i was not even allowed an exchange at the till, I contacted customer service who told me the same. I will never shop there again as my elderly relative has wasted money. I used to be a regular customer not now, there is absolutely no decency within the company morales only to make money on their cheap over priced merchandise and after this myself and some of my family members who where discusted at me not been able to get an exchange will not shop there again either!!!!”
