“My experience with StubHub was profoundly disappointing. I invested hundreds of dollars in purchasing two tickets for a game between the Washington Commanders and the Pittsburgh Steelers. My decision was influenced by the photographs StubHub presented before the purchase. However, upon arrival at my seats, I was met with a stark contrast between the advertised view and the reality. The photographs provided by StubHub were misleading and constituted a false advertisement. The obstructed view from my seat, obstructed by a hanging and a column, was not accurately represented in the photographs. Had I been aware of this beforehand, I would have been prepared to pay extra for a better vantage point. As a long-standing customer of StubHub, I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience and will never consider purchasing tickets from them again due to the breach of trust. I strongly advise others to steer clear of StubHub at all costs.”
“Don't use this service. Was trying to sell my tickets for the face value, not trying to earn any money on them, but the ticket site was not letting me transfer them, called the costumer service immediately after the sale and told them I cannot fulfill my order and they just continued saying that they will charge me for the tickets as they are a business. They end up charing me more than I was selling my tickets for. So they literally pocketed $240 dollars from my own money.”
“I bought parking tickets to the Boyz II Men concert from Stub Hub. When I got to the gate, the attendant told me the tickets were fraudulent. We went through all websites trying to retrieve the tickets. The attendant finally told me I could pay or exit the lot. I paid for another ticket. StubHub refused to refund the fraudulent ticket. I also disputed with PayPal, and Stub Hub did not respond to the dispute. Worst company and worst customer service ever. If you don't want to lose your money, don't even try them.”
“Stubhub charged me extra money after I sold a ticket and the buyer cancelled right before the concert as it was “sold incorrectly” even tho they only let me do the one option and I wrote the right details. Extra $200 on top of what I had already paid for the tickets. That was just one incident, just had another one where I tried to sell a ticket I had just bought on the site and it said “unable to sell”. All details were correct and have tried everything but it won’t allow it. SCAM ARTISTS. They won’t do anything if you call or email them too.”
“Exactly what others are experiencing. Bought tickets, paid the money, then told they weren’t available two hours before the event. Had floor tickets 6 rows from stage and they offered much worse tickets as an alternative with no reduction in price. Second time this has happened. Stubhub is scamming its customers. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM STUB HUB!”
“Horrible did not receive our tickets after we paid for them their code did not work at the event. Had to buy more tickets there. They could not refund or give us other tickets for the same cost.”
“STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS! I tried to cancel my listing on Sunday because I sold tickets on another site.. I got an error the first time, but when I went back in it showed no active listings so I thought I was in the clear. Until today when I got a message saying I sold the tickets. Called and spoke to Jojo who REFUSED to let me speak to a supervisor or give me corporates info. Then he hung up on me. I later got an email saying the sale was canceled so I’m thinking ok it’s over, I call. They say you’re still going to be charged even because the sale was cancelled!! Like WHAT?!? So you were gonna charge me even though I canceled my listing then still charge me even though the sale was canceled? GTFOH!! I also noticed I never received an email when I canceled my listing OR canceled my account with these people which is mighty convenient! STAY AWAY!!! They’re a bunch of scam artists!!! No lie!”
“I just got scammed today 11/07/2024
Chris tomlins concert is today so i wanted to buy a ticket for my cousin and the ticket I saw was a floor ticket for $24 and i bought them thinking that nothing could go wrong because most of his tickets were really cheap. When i got the confirmation to accept the ticket it shows as PARKING PASS . Honestly i thought i was trippin bc i had bought parking pass with my other ticket so i kept refreshing and refreshing to make sure i wasnt trippin.
At last i saw no floor ticket so i call customer service and asked for a refund and they said no because they contacted the seller of the ticket i had bought and they said they would send the right ticket right away but i no longer wanted the ticket since i had to buy another ticket for my cousin to come in and there was no one wanting the ticket and they said that they said they could only give me $5 discount
In the picture of the receipt it clearly says floor ticket and in the other pic it shows as parking pass”
“They never issued my tickets, their customer service was impossible to reach the day of the event and refused to give me my money back. I will never use them again.”
“This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I bought tickets to go to the Gabriel Iglesias show 3 months in advance and they never sent me the tickets. One week before the show, they told me that my seats were not available. I had bought the seats near the stage and they offered me seats all the way back. I imagine they sold my seats at a higher price than I bought them for. They were really scammers.”
“Stubhub is an awful middleman that takes your money, doesn’t give you your tickets, and then leans on their ‘no refunds’ policy. Do not use, use at your own risk.”
“I purchased tickets for an event on 11/3/24. They were supposed to be sent to me electronically on 11/2/24 @ 5pm. I never received them. I made multiple calls but could never get a straight answer. I was told that Stubhub would get me new tickets but not until 1 hour before the event. I don't understand how that would be helpful. I had to scramble 4 hours before the game to buy new tickets. I finally got an email about 3 hours after the game saying my order was canceled and a refund would be sent. Terrible customer service. Will never use them again.”
“Worse experience ever buying tickets from anyone ..It cost me over $1000 for two Boston Celtics tickets from Stubhub and I never could receive the tickets. The Seller of these tickets put them in a ticketmaster account in which I had trouble getting them. I tried for over 3 weeks chatting with all the Support Teams and it was useless and I ended up losing all my money..NEVER EVER USE STUBHUB”
“Bait and switch. Wouldn't give me a full price with their $56 PER TICKET fee added on until the last screen...right before the payment confirmation. I redeemed a gift card to utilize and had I known they were going to add that big of a charge (1/2 the price of a ticket), I would never have purchased, but now I'm stuck as I can't unredeem a gift card.”
“This company seems to be a complete fraud!
I listed my ticket for a sale, I was checking constantly for a notification on my account but did not get it. They sent an email saying it is sold on the same day of the concert. I did not see it.
So they charged me double the amount of the ticket I was supposed to sell!!!
This is a complete fraud!”
“worst ever - purchased 2 tickets but got only 1. customer support refused to refund/replace and insisted that I need to return the one ticket I got when the game is going to start in an hour. Stubhub doesn't want to address the customer's pain point caused by unreliable seller and their flawed system.”
