“I purchased 2 tickets to the Boston Red Sox game several weeks ago for today’s game. I received an email stating the seller had not sent the tickets yet, but “don’t worry, we will take care of it”. An hour and a half before start time, I called stub hub and was told “don’t worry, we will find replacement tickets for you.” We pay $60 to park , and still no tickets so I call back (and now it is game time). I receive an email states “so sorry, but we do not have a replacement for you & we can issues a refund.”
We flew to Boston from DFW, and then I also paid $60 to park… but don’t worry , StubHub gave me a $42 voucher. I WILL NEVER USE STUB HUB AGAIN!!!”
“Absolute $@&! customer service. They tell you what you want to hear when there is an issue just to get you off the phone and then when you call back to resolve the same issue and speak to a supervisor they will put you on hold and drop the call. They use “we are just the middleman” as an excuse to justify not making things right for people who purchase tickets through their company. Service fees have also become outrageous; $90 in total fees for 2 $95 MLB tickets. Have used them for years in the past and now have realized what all the bad reviews are about and will never use them again.”
“You cannot trust this seller, just placed an order for 2 tickets today for Presidents Cup in Montreal, they confirmed the order and after 10 min they informed us the order was canceled without any explanations. Not nice at all.”
“I bought three tickets for my birthday. Used Afterpay bc it was an available payment method. I got confirmation email and tickets. Then I download app and in my tickets it says cancelled. I called and was told don’t worry. Your tickets aren’t cancelled. I said ok. I called again maybe two weeks later. Again was told. No my tickets were good and were not cancelled. I asked why does it say that. She says she was not sure but assured me they were cancelled. The day of event I called again cause I’m nervous. I am told they were cancelled due to non payment. Well that’s not true. I paid w/After pay and money was taken from my acct. no resolution. No nothing. Birthday ruined.”
“Hands down the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY OF ALL TIME! We purchased tickets to Braves game months ago for a Friday night game on my son’s 18th birthday. Fast forward to the week of the game and we are all watching and waiting to see what Hurricane Helene will do. Is she going to go straight through ATL (as planned)? I called numerous times in advance throughout the week and was assured if ATL was hit and the game was cancelled or postponed, stubhub would make it right. The night the storm hit our home town of Savannah GA had winds reaching 75mph from the storm. Hurricane Helene veered slightly east and mostly spared ATL, but left devastating damage for us, as well as all along the path from Savannah to
Truist park. We had no power. No running water. Roads were closed and not accessible. Our fence was demolished. Trees were down. Debris was everywhere. Internet was splotchy and cell service poor. Not only were we exhausted after staying up from 9pm Thursday night to 8am Friday morning when the storm settled, we had a long day ahead of us cleaning and preparing; not to mention an expensive one bc of the cost of making repairs. Stubhub had absolutely no regard or concern when I called and explained our situation. The “well take care of you” attitude I heard 3 times previously during the week when I called was gone! Their only excuse was a scripted one: we apologize for the inconvenience. We don’t have any control over the weather. You can sell your tickets if you’d like. Blah blah blah.
Absolutely disgusting was the lack of regard for others well being and the robotic and cold excuses they had.
Will NEVER EVER use this company again and I plan to make it a personal goal of mine to tell everyone I know NOT to use this company. We are a huge sports family and go to multiple SEC and MLB games yearly.
Absolutely shameful that this company had no genuine concern. I truly believe j could have told them a tornado demolished my house and the rep would still have read the same BS script.
Shameful. Do better Stubhub!”
“I wouldn't give this company 1 star this is a scam DO NOT Purchase tickets from them
9-27-24 we purchased tickets a week ago and still haven't received them today Friday the game is Sunday customer service told me they don't give refunds please save yourself a headache don't do it it's a scam”
“Do not buy tickets from StubHub!!! The seller failed to deliver tickets I purchased. StubHub did not tell me they were going to be unavailable until after I already was at the event. The “guarantee” is not for the location of the seats but for the price. So by the time I found out, all the decent seats were gone and I was stuck with seats higher up than I wanted, with a terrible view. StubHub solution was for a $3 voucher.”
“Do not sale tickets thru this company! It is a freaking scam. I recently post 2 tickets on here but I then canceled the transfer. Mind you the transfer was still processing when I canceled. Fast forward 2 days later I check my account and I have a -500 charge from StubHub! They charged my account because they still attempted to sale my tickets after I canceled the transfer! My bank could not get my money back because StubHub has in its policy that when u cancel u also must delete the posting but once u cancel there is no posting so it’s a lose lose situation. I’ll never deal with this bs company again”
“Called several times to confirm tickets were transferred to my colleague for yankee game. They coudl not provide me with any confirmation. Parking apasses were available on game day and had to transfer them same day. The parking passes for Yankeee Stadium parking were blocks away and when I arrived mine did not work and I was told no problem we will handle it afdter the game. Took me 45 minutes for them to hasndle it after the game; I was abcked up outr ot two exit lines; there were poeople upset and honking their hoinrs everywhere. Best of all my event ticket did not work and they showed as invalid. This business model is terrible; do not use them. Customer service is a waste of time. They will ruin your experience as they did mine with three senior business colleagues.”
“Horrible company and customer service. I had (2) tickets to sell. I sold (1) ticket per transaction. I received confirmation emails regarding the transactions, and confirmations emails that my tickets were delivered successfully. They I received an email to deliver a third ticket, which I never posted and never had to sell. Stubhub withheld $100 from my order because I never delivered the third ticket and never had a third ticket to sell. They insisted I did, but would not show me any proof that I had a 3rd ticket expect for resending me an email confirmation that I had "sold" the ticket. On my stubhub dashboard, only shows I sold (2) tickets not (3). The customer service agents barely speak English and you cannon get hold of a manager. The company gets off on ripping people off.”
“The agents give you misinformation, then tell you to hold on to your tickets and not resell them while they attempt to resolve the situation, then the day of the the event tell you they won't do anything and it's too late to resell your ticket”
“I purchased two general admission tickets to a concert and was transferred balcony seats, which I didn’t accept. called immediately and was on the phone with customer support for over an hour with nothing getting resolved. I mailed a dispute and talked to two other representatives with still no resolution. Eveyone just wants you to re-state your issue, promise to help, and then don’t. After two weeks of back and forth, I decided my peace was worth more than $187 so I just gave up on them and accepted the loss; no tickets, no refund. I’ll never do business with them again, nor do I recommend them to anyone else.”
“Here’s an edited version of your review:
The customer service is terrible, and the company is a scam. The event was cancelled, but they refuse to issue a refund, stating that it may be postponed to an unknown date. I would never recommend them.”
“STUBHUB ARE A SCAM
Bought a ticket on their website which turned out to be fraudulent and I was turned away at the gate. Tried to claim compensation, and they refused, did everything they ensure my claim was 'invalid'
They are a criminal business and probably working with the selling
scammers”
“I listed tickets for sale on September 9 for a September 11 concert. I found a buyer myself on September 10 so I immediately went to StubHub and deactivated the listing. On September 11 they sold the tickets anyway and then charged me $100 when I couldn't deliver the tickets.”
