“Do not buy tickets from StubHub!!! The seller failed to deliver tickets I purchased. StubHub did not tell me they were going to be unavailable until after I already was at the event. The “guarantee” is not for the location of the seats but for the price. So by the time I found out, all the decent seats were gone and I was stuck with seats higher up than I wanted, with a terrible view. StubHub solution was for a $3 voucher.”
“Do not sale tickets thru this company! It is a freaking scam. I recently post 2 tickets on here but I then canceled the transfer. Mind you the transfer was still processing when I canceled. Fast forward 2 days later I check my account and I have a -500 charge from StubHub! They charged my account because they still attempted to sale my tickets after I canceled the transfer! My bank could not get my money back because StubHub has in its policy that when u cancel u also must delete the posting but once u cancel there is no posting so it’s a lose lose situation. I’ll never deal with this bs company again”
“Called several times to confirm tickets were transferred to my colleague for yankee game. They coudl not provide me with any confirmation. Parking apasses were available on game day and had to transfer them same day. The parking passes for Yankeee Stadium parking were blocks away and when I arrived mine did not work and I was told no problem we will handle it afdter the game. Took me 45 minutes for them to hasndle it after the game; I was abcked up outr ot two exit lines; there were poeople upset and honking their hoinrs everywhere. Best of all my event ticket did not work and they showed as invalid. This business model is terrible; do not use them. Customer service is a waste of time. They will ruin your experience as they did mine with three senior business colleagues.”
“Horrible company and customer service. I had (2) tickets to sell. I sold (1) ticket per transaction. I received confirmation emails regarding the transactions, and confirmations emails that my tickets were delivered successfully. They I received an email to deliver a third ticket, which I never posted and never had to sell. Stubhub withheld $100 from my order because I never delivered the third ticket and never had a third ticket to sell. They insisted I did, but would not show me any proof that I had a 3rd ticket expect for resending me an email confirmation that I had "sold" the ticket. On my stubhub dashboard, only shows I sold (2) tickets not (3). The customer service agents barely speak English and you cannon get hold of a manager. The company gets off on ripping people off.”
“The agents give you misinformation, then tell you to hold on to your tickets and not resell them while they attempt to resolve the situation, then the day of the the event tell you they won't do anything and it's too late to resell your ticket”
“I purchased two general admission tickets to a concert and was transferred balcony seats, which I didn’t accept. called immediately and was on the phone with customer support for over an hour with nothing getting resolved. I mailed a dispute and talked to two other representatives with still no resolution. Eveyone just wants you to re-state your issue, promise to help, and then don’t. After two weeks of back and forth, I decided my peace was worth more than $187 so I just gave up on them and accepted the loss; no tickets, no refund. I’ll never do business with them again, nor do I recommend them to anyone else.”
“Here’s an edited version of your review:
The customer service is terrible, and the company is a scam. The event was cancelled, but they refuse to issue a refund, stating that it may be postponed to an unknown date. I would never recommend them.”
“STUBHUB ARE A SCAM
Bought a ticket on their website which turned out to be fraudulent and I was turned away at the gate. Tried to claim compensation, and they refused, did everything they ensure my claim was 'invalid'
They are a criminal business and probably working with the selling
scammers”
“I listed tickets for sale on September 9 for a September 11 concert. I found a buyer myself on September 10 so I immediately went to StubHub and deactivated the listing. On September 11 they sold the tickets anyway and then charged me $100 when I couldn't deliver the tickets.”
“Terrible experience trying to sale tickets. I rarely use after market tickets sites but I needed to sale my tickets so I wouldn’t take a loss. I listed the tickets on StubHub with the intentions of selling all 4 together. I got a congratulations text saying you sold 1 ticket. I did not want to sale 1 ticket and be left with 3. StubHub does not make clear on there site on how your tickets will be sold. I elected not to sale 1 ticket and relisted all 4 and found the option to sale all together. Low and behold StubHub sold 1 ticket again. I did not realize that when I no seller the tickets they charged me a total of $650. Which put my bank account in the negative and on top of that I got hit with overdraft fees of $70 total. I’ve recjed out to StubHub several times and every time it’s like starting over. It’s a new person who has no idea what you’re talking about. I feel like I was mugged in a dark alley and my wallet was stolen. I’m not trying to get over on anybody here. This is a billion dollar company who cares nothing about the people who keep them afloat. The sellers. This is so disheartening.”
“Never use Stubhub. They sold me a scam parking pass and I ended up getting towed. Worst part is many others in the same parking lot were towed and they also used Stubhub. I call Stubhub and they refuse to refund. Terrible company!
I will never use them again.”
“I actually feel better after reading a lot of this comments. I was only scammed by StubHub for 32.00 . This company is brutal. Even all the emails, were ridiculous. You sent me a parking pass for a lot 2 1/2 miles from the venue . We didn’t know where to go, the attendants at the lots had no idea what we were talking about and didn’t know where to direct us. We phoned and asked for help and we had to wait for assistance by someone who didn’t help and eventually hung up on us. This all took place 15 -20 minutes before kickoff. We wound up paying 100$ for parking elsewhere and stubhub didn’t even refund the parking fee they charged. Shame on you , but it sounds like you have done a lot worse to others . I think Ticketmaster is the better option.”
“Do not purchase tickets with Stubhub. They refuse to refund ticket holders. They are asking you to try to resell the tickets on their website. The concert was cancelled in July 20 mins before the start time. Stood for 2 hours in the line. Stub hub needs to give a refund. I am continuing to dispute this relentlessly with my bank.
Ticketmaster gives an option for refund but not stub hub.
My very first time purchasing with them and my last.
They also have an additional fee that makes the ticket a bit more.
Beware!”
“If I could give StubHub 0 stars I would. I came TO a concert and they told me my tickets don’t work. When I went to the help desk they said someone was in my seat that I purchased so not only did the tickets not work but also it was sold twice. I will never, ever ever purchase off of stubhub again.”
“I purchased a parking ticket from STUBHUB to park my rental vehicle in order to watch an NFL game (Dallas Cowboys vs Baltimore Ravens) on 09/22/2024 in Texas. We had to park over two miles away. Walking wasn’t the problem. Our parking voucher included the address and a photo of the location where we were directed to park. After the game, we arrived back at the same location to find our vehicle had been towed. How can a large company such as STUBHUB allow their customers to purchase a parking voucher and park at a location where their vehicle is guaranteed to be towed. I wasn’t counting on a towing bill of over $300.00. This in my opinion is fraud, it’s illegal!! STUBHUB you should be embarrassed to conduct this type of practice. I’m still waiting on a call back from someone in management to address this matter. I wasn’t the only person to have their vehicle towed from the same location. Several customers had to contact the police about this matter. I well never purchase from STUBHUB again.”
“I went to see a hockey game in Newark New Jersey. With tickets I was offered parking for $46. Knowing that the area is not safe, I bought it. When I arrived, I found out that all the parking lots in the area were $30. Never buy parking from Stubhub!”
“Absolute worst company in the world. Occasionally I forget about their horrible technology and customer service and purchase tickets from them. Anxiety is through the roof each time because tickets never get delivered and never show up in the account. Customer service is even worse. Stay away from this company at all costs. Your ticket buying experience is anything but seamless.”
