“The worst delivery company and the worst customer service. Cancelled the order after waiting over two weeks to get it delivered and they have done nothing but lie and pass the blame to other departments. Never use this service if you value your time or money.”
“How in the name of God hasn't this company gone under? I am 53 and have been a homeowner for more than 30 years. I buy lots on the internet and this company is worse than every other delivery company I've ever dealt with put together. It is absolutely abysmal. They say they're coming to deliver and lie that their attempt failed and they put a card through the door (When you've been in all day waiting for them in your living room and know they haven't set foot near your property) Then, with us, they were meant to deliver a replacement piece of furniture after they damaged the original in their warehouse, they did finally turn up the day after we expected them, but the driver said he didn't know anything about taking the damaged item away as our furniture company had arranged. We got in touch with our furniture supplier and they spoke to XDP, where the driver's story changed and he had 'just forgotten to bring the paperwork for the collection'. They were supposed to come today but of course haven't. And good luck getting touch with them! They ignore emails, don't answer the phone, which they charge you a fortune for calling and if you get to speak to someone on 'Live Chat' you are tearing your hair out by the end. I spoke to 'Madison' who failed to understand what I told her. And, after I explained that we had had a replacement item delivered and needed the damaged item taking away again, as arranged by our furniture company, she said 'but you had it delivered yesterday' so I had to explain all over again that, yes, we did have an item delivered yesterday but the faulty item was supposed to be taken away at the same time or today with the collection arranged by our furniture supplier. The penny finally dropped with her but she then informed me that our furniture supplier hadn't made a collection claim. I told her that they had and they had told the driver, even, to expect the furniture item to be ready out in the front garden. But she just repeated that they hadn't made any arrangements at all. And in closing! Whatever this company delivers to your home I would suggest you don't let them take it into any room. The men who brought our bedroom furniture destroyed our newly decorated walls on the stairs, literally took the paint off all the way up, down to the plaster. They have no respect for your property whatsoever. The sooner this company goes under the better. It quite simply doesn't deserve to be in business.”

“Received a text is morning to say that my parcel will be delivered between 10.13am and 12:13pm waited in all day long on my only day off and it still hasn’t arrived, I tracked my parcel online and it now says it was delivered at 10:45am this morning which it wasn’t, wasted a full day waiting in for nothing, tried to call the number on the website all day and they keep hanging up the phone, no live chat on the website, sent an email to receive a response to say that my email has been rejected as there is no such email address, absolutely fuming.”

“XDP driver delivered a bed bought new on eBay and left it with a ‘neighbour’ in the wrong street! Their communication and efforts to resolve this were pathetic and resulted in me going to the address to get a phone number from the occupant to try to resolve the issue myself. The suppliers eventually sent one of their own drivers to collect and deliver, so xdp didn’t even take responsibility and see the problem through. Awful service.”
“Absolute joke of a service ... you think all is good - email and sms giving time slot and then they try and deliver 4 hours after it. Customer service is a joke - gave instructions to leave in a safe place and again failed to deliver or leave in a safe place and again 4 hrs late !! Now waiting for a 3rd attempt and have no faith they will arrive at all
UPDATE ... got email as I was sat at home that they had tried to deliver - absolute LIARS !! Still no parcel”
“Dreadful service. No sign of delivery. Tried to e-mail, use online chat, waited 1 hour 45 minutes on the phone and still didn't get to speak to anyone. Cost 44p a minute as an 0844 number.

“1st time over 2 hours late. No one contacted me to redeliver. Had to wait in queue when I got to nbr 1 got cut off. Finally was told they would deliver between 1.45 and 3.45 but delivered at 5.30 and left it outside in the rain so really not impressed with your service”

This company do not answer the phone number provided, the live chat is also useless as they claim to call you back and never do. The local depot will not reply to emails and the head office is also a joke. I received an email telling me that I had a parcel due so I arranged for someone to be in. This never turned up and no explanation to why was offered. Since then I have only received emails to tell me when the courier has tried to redeliver not to let me know of a pending delivery so I can make arrangements. I returned home today to find that the courier had broken into my rear garden and dumped 2 large boxes of furniture by my shed and left my garden insecure. The boxes where clearly marked do not leave in a safe place and the contents are damaged. This company is a disgrace”
“Worst delivery company I've ever had the misfortune to wait on a parcel from. Managed to lose 1 of 5 parcels, had rest for 5 days at their depot. Texted to say parcels would be out 3 days in, so we got rid of our bed. They never arrived at time slot (and also never advised us one part was missing). This was a mattress and 4 boxes to build new bed. Either way, even if it arrived we couldn't use it as we were going to be missing the mattress or one section of the bed. I've had absolutely no contact from them. My partner is sleeping on the couch, I'm on the floor. We are both in pain, sore backs. I called during opening hours at 11am on Saturday but voicemail says they were closed. We are no further forward getting our bed. I'd never willingly use this company.. sadly the seller of bed does. He has tried chasing them up to no avail. I shudder to think what state the mattress will be whenever it arrives having been in their hands for a week at least. Disgrace of a delivery company.”
“I wish I could do 0 stars! I purchased a furniture set from eBay of 5 items, 2 items came on a wednesday and 1 item came on the following Friday. I was missing the 2 (largest) items. They still haven't been delivered even now a week later! This company is claiming they have been delivered. They claim i've signed for them although I did not. I did not sign for anything that mentioned 'Stockwell double bed' or 'Stockwell triple wardrobe'. What I signed for was written as a very generic: '3 items'. my double wardrobe did arrive on time and it came in 3 boxes. the delivery driver told me that the '3 items' noted on the delivery note means 3 boxes as that is how they scan them at the depot and that he had nothing left on the van for me and that they will 'probably turn up tomorrow or perhaps another day next week'. They also advised if I had an issue about missing items then I should contact the furniture company. Which i absolutely did straight away but, without much help. they want to open a formal investigation with XDP that will take 90 days which I will not be willing to accept. I have no bed and no large wardrobe and these 2 items alone cost me over £600! unacceptable customer service! I still don't know where my items are. Whats worse is that they are blaming me for not writing on the delivery note that I was missing 2 items!! Why on earth would I write what's missing on a delivery note when the delivery driver standing in front of me has explained to me that I have received all the 3 items for that day (the 3 boxes)! How the hell am I supposed to know what's in his van?! I'm sorry but I have to accept what the 'experts' are telling me. If I was missing items surely the driver should write it on his delivery note on my behalf as a query? So rude, so unhelpful and I'm currently sleeping on the floor!... Waiting for a resolution on this.”

Terrible at communication and helping with any problem and who charges customers 7p per minute to get help on the phone??”
“I was upstairs when the driver knocked on my front door-one hour earlier than the ETA on the text and email. By the time I had got down the stairs to the front door the driver had gone! He didn’t even wait 5 seconds before shoving a card through the letterbox, throwing my parcel in the back of his van and speeding off. You have to give people the chance to get to the front door!! Ridiculous!!!! Awful company.”
