“I purchased an expensive treadmill (+ £1000) from a big Fitness superstore that uses XDP. I was promised that I could get the item delivered in my holiday if I purchased express delivery. I purchased the item on a Tuesday but it was most convenient for me to have it deliverd on a Friday.
Plenty of time for the delivery company then.....
However, come Friday and the promised sms message to tell me when I can expect my delivery does not arrive in the morning. At around 11 o'clock I start to become concerned since it is imperative that the item is actually delived in my holiday. I cannot take time of work. I call XDP on the number they have supplied, only to get an automated message that all lines are busy, and I am asked to leave a message. This happens each time I call up. I leave a message - but my call is never returned.
Trying (naively) to get in contact with them in another manner, I e-mail them, but, of course, my e-mails are also ignored.
At around 14.30 I receive a call from a mobile number asking me when I would like my item delivered. I explain that it needs to be delived today - as agreed - but the chap informs me that it is impossible since they are just too busy (!! not the kind of thing you would expect a professional company like Parcelforce or FedEX to say..). He does promise that the item will be delivered Saturday, since I cannot take any weekeday off.
However, having waited all day Saturday, the item is not delivered. Furthermore, no communication to inform me that it will not be delivered is received. I call the mobile number of the chap that called me previously and leave a message to ask, but to no avail.
My holiday has now come to an end, and I will have to get in contact with the Fitness Superstore I bought the item from to cancel the order. It was a nice product, I really looked forward to go on a run on the treadmill, so I am hughy dissapointed that I cannot get it and will have to cancel the order. I wish they were using a more reputable and efficient delivery company than XDP.”
“Poor service, staff with bad attitude, lost parcel, late arrivals. Its a shame you had to select a star at all as this companys service is beyond very poor!
My purchase was split into 5 separate parcels which were clearly at the 'Collection Office', according to XDPs website. However only 4 arrived, one of which had been opened. When emailing XDP, I was rudely told that they cannot deliver a parcel that have not received??!! Errrm - your website says you have it, so less of the attitude please! I was even told to contact the supplier?! WFT?
Anyway the supplier did indeed send another item (probably due to sheer embarrassment of the service and response I had received from XDP). However, this resulted in me not having all of my purchase within one working day as paid for!
No apology, no compensation for late item, no further business for XDP from me! I would definitely not purchase from a supplier using this company.”
“We recently bought a bed frame online which was being delivered by XDP, it was a disaster from start to finish. We waited in all day on the delivery date, only to be told at 4pm that someone had been that morning?! There was no card left & we have a dog who barks like mad every time someone comes in the gate! We had to spend hours on the phone re arranging delivery. It was then promised for the next day before 1pm, my partner had to take another day off for this. It finally arrived at about 3.30 which meant another wasted, unpaid day for my partner. We had no apology & no answer to my email of complaint. Do not use this company, they are an absolute nightmare!!”

“My two-part order got split at the depot. One part arrived and was delivered to a "neighbour" half way down the street. After two phone calls the other part was arranged to be delivered the next day within a window of 1 to 4PM, driver didn't show up. The next day the parcel wasn't even loaded onto a van for delivery. Finally received the parcel 3 days later, soaking wet. Online tracking is non existent, customer service completely useless and disinterested. Other reviews online speak for themselves, 1 star is being generous.”
