First time 2 hour time slot was given made sure I stayed home to receive it then had notice that I was not home and could not deliver item, 2nd 2 hour time slot nothing arrived. Then morning of next day I had notification to say item had been delivered!!!. I would like to know whom they delivered to as it definitely was not me. I have cctv and have checked my footage for 3 days and guess what NO DELIVERY WAS ATTEMPTED BY XDP !!! Need reporting to trading standards”
“This is the worst shipment/delivery company ever. And before you ask (then ignore) my reference number is ZDBPGM016015.
I ordered some made to measure shelves from the UK to be delivered to the UK (a 3 hour drive location). It took 4 days for the packages to arrive. The tracking system is rubbish, it only updates hours after the events and I was told I would be informed the day before, so I can make sure I am I am home to receive the packages, they sent me a text 2 hours before.
They have a premium phone number (7p charge per minute on top of network charge), I am assuming this is to avoid people calling them? I still did, but unfortunately you need a customer number, otherwise you have to call the supplier for updates (the only update the suppliers have are the same rubbish tracking system).
Now all of 'this is just life' one would say, get on with it. So I did, I waited patiently for my shelves. When they arrived, two of the 4 packages were so damaged that it was a mess of wet cardboard and broken wood chip. They had left the packages in the rain or somewhere wet for hours. The shelves were all swollen, chipped and scratched.
I hope the supplier will get their money back from XDP, as I will be getting a refund.
Reading these reviews, I realise that ALDI and WayFair use them too? I will certainly ask who the delivery company is, before ordering anything in the future and will avoid XDP like the plague!”
“I’m currently 16 days into a potential delivery from XDP, they’ve already claimed to have attempted delivery with the evidence being a close u photo of my address and hand written across it NOT HERE, I spoke to Aldi customer services who contacted XDP and told me they now need 2 people to deliver the parcel as it’s a heavy item and to allow more time for delivery. If they had said a team of garden snails are transporting the item direct from China I could have lived with that.”

they have said that they made my delivery today. THEY HAVE NOT. the pictures are just a red background & a label with no signature. has the driver stolen my 5 parcels. impossible to contact XDP. i think this is a criminal offence & will be reporting them to the police.”

“The worst company I've ever dealt with, even the local Chinese who barely speaks English is more competent and gets there delivery right 9/10.
I'm still waiting for my parcel 4 days in, they've said they have tried to deliver a few times, however i've been in the house. I've also asked them to ring me after the first time, they've never rang, the company is dodgy to say the least.”

Booked in for 13th Feb. Faked delivery notice on 16th Feb (causing mad stress of looking for item all over development because they'd said it had been delivered). Magically arrived back at depot a few days later. Repeatedly ignore emails asking for updates. Still no delivery nor response on 23rd Feb. Absolutely useless.”
“Had to put 1 start because 0 stars is not an option. Received call & email and tracking detail that the item would be delivered on the morning of 22nd. Nothing arrived. No updates. Then on 23rd, I get a "No Reply" email that they can't deliver today and I have to rearrange the delivery that they originally arranged but failed. Can't do it. Web site has no links. Phone is a premium line and I get put on hold. Thats not a service its a hinderance.”
“What a joke this company is.
1st deliver attempted which I got an text saying they will deliver between 9.30 am and 11.30 am ( got the text at 4.16pm )
2 no attempted was 16 days later. I got the text at 5.15pm to say item will be with me between 4.20pm and 6.20pm lucky I was at the house from 4pm. I waited till 8.20pm with nowhere to sit as it’s an empty house being done up. Wayfair not interested they just say item is with delivery company and they will e mail them.
No way to contact them by e mail or
Phone. Live chat doesn’t work can’t track delivery driver on their app all you can see is where the item is being delivered to ( it’s my house so I know where it’s going )
The company is an absolute joke and I will never buy anything from anybody who uses them again”

Had 5 different notifications of delivery, (which we waited in for), we recieved our parcel on the 5th. notification day, (oh & not consequent days), only because we are retired were we in.

“Been waiting on an item since 8th Feb. Had emails from company on the 8,9 & 10th Feb to say my item be delivered on one of these days….no delivery, no card. Contacted the seller on the 12,14th Feb, who tells me the company have had issues and were unable to deliver (no reasons given) but that my item be with me today the 15th Feb, been on delivery company web site and it’s telling me no delivery slots/dates available. Contacted seller again and they reply by saying delivery of items is nothing to do with them!!”

“Ordered through wayfair, item arrived on time and not damaged.I was terrified that it would not get delivered by the reviews on this site. I asked the driver why the bad reviews and he said, it’s been crazy busy and they have major staff issues since the pandemic and now there are only 2 couriers that can deliver this type of large freight all the others have gone bust in the UK! , hence why the company’s are using XDP.”
“Ordered a bed with Happy Beds and they used this courier which I had never heard of before seeing as I just moved to the area. They set a delivery time to my new flat between 6:30 and 8:30, and my elderly mother and I waited in for just under four hours only to never see hide nor hair of my new bed! Then I head off to work the next morning while she very kindly waited in, only to tell me that she had to drag the heavy parcel in bit by bit herself and that it was soaking wet, which means they have to have left it the night before when it was pouring down!
My mother is fit and healthy for her age, but imagine if she wasn't and had injured herself! Plus they forged my signature by just writing my name, which is NOT how I sign things. They also damaged my mattress as well as forgetting parts and had to send it back! Absolute rip-off artists and a series of clowns that would make Ringling Brothers jealous. Avoid like the plague!”
