Absolutely avoid at all costs. No updates on there website regarding my item. Over a week late on delivery and still not here. Constantly on hold when you call to find out costing 7p a minute.

One of the most unhelpful couriers i have ever come across. The app does not work. When the delivery came they left it against the house wall. I asked him to please just put on the step so I could manoeuvre it into the hallway he refused argued with me and than swore at me. Grabbed it and slung it onto the step and ran. Never used if you can help it .

Ordered garden sofa from Laura James, paid on line via PayPal. Were emailed to advise delivery of two boxes. 24th April. Consignment was for two boxes. Delivery was off one box. We’re asked if they should leave one box and deliver the other on Monday. Rather annoyed but agreed that we would settle for this. I offered to sign and driver said. Not required. I said would he contact the depot. He replied that I had to. We have emailed, tried to telephone. No answer. Apparently they are all working from home. No delivery arrived Monday. The parcel tracking system says that two boxes were delivered!! Telephoned Laura James who are garden furniture was purchased from. They have also failed to get contact with them. We have half the sofa, with fixtures and fittings for the rest, and glass for table top. Disgraceful customer care and service. Have been sent a generic email from XDP saying they will reply in 24-48 hours. Laura James have asked us to call them in 72 hours as from yesterday. We have made 3 calls to Laura James since Friday, when our delivery was scheduled for. If no result tomorrow,we will be contacting PayPal. Not happy at all.

No problems whatsoever. Sure it wasn’t the fastest service, but it arrived on time. We are also in the midst of a pandemic... Website could probably do with a freshen up.

Same issue it seems as everyone else. Had an "attempted delivery" last week but got 'carded' saying item was "not on van". No way of contacting them. Random delivery driver knocked on my door Sunday and asked if I was waiting for a delivery. I said yes then he disappeared and never came back. Today I had an email saying it was out for delivery before another one saying it had been delivered with another note saying "NOT ON VAN". So who knows where my package is?? Cant email, phone or do anything with the app. Sportsdirect not answering either so its become a very expensive mystery.

I was sent a text informing me that my consignment would be delivered between 10.24 and 12.24 last Tuesday, April 24th. still waiting on April 27th. No reply to my enquiry via your website. I know you are busy-I myself am an NHS doctor, so know about teh delays COVID has built in, but this is unreasonable.

Like many of you, I didn’t choose XDP, rather I had XDP forced upon me. I’ll be doing my best to avoid this in future. I too tried to be understanding because of COVID and all the rest of it, but XDP’s service would still be shocking if we were in the middle of the bubonic plague. So far, I am only a few days passed the date that my stuff should have arrived so reading other reviews I’m settling in for the long haul. My primary complaint is with XDP’s assertion that it is in fact my fault that my parcel isn’t here. XDP have the audacity to claim I’ve been “Carded” on their tracking system since I wasn’t around to take the parcels from them. They have 100% not been here because I’ve been working from home within 4 feet of my front door, no sign of the card I was supposedly posted either. I can only assume that this is a bare-faced lie as our street has a unique postcode, there are only 6 houses on it, and we are number 1 with the street sign literally affixed to our house, so it’s not as if they could have visited the wrong address by mistake unless they are gravely incompetent. You would think that for a company that primarily spends its days locating houses, mine would not present a significant challenge. No way to contact the company at all. I can’t even sign into the app because trying to create an account involves a step with an email link to verify your address which, fittingly, never arrived either. The website invites you live chat via a link “at the bottom of the page” that isn’t there. Call centre is closed and I’ve been ghosted by their email address, although they’re probably overwhelmed by the number of complaints they are getting at the moment. Meanwhile, Amazon, Royal Mail, DPD etc perform almost as quickly as usual with regular tracking updates. I am amazed to have encountered a delivery company even worse than Yodel. I think checking with sellers to vet their delivery company in future is a good idea, XDP smacks of a company that has bitten off more than it can chew and is, frankly, flailing. A disorganised company with dishonest practices.

One of the worst mailing companies I have ever dealt with. Absolutely no communication. Glitchy app that provides no information. They have the audacity to say they attempted a delivery that never happened, it won’t let me reschedule on the app. No number to ring, sent an email with no response. Is this a scam? How does this company still exist?

This was my first experience with xdp and will be my last one. If there was a rating of no stars I would give them that as 1 star is far too generous. Time and time again I was told my parcel is awaiting pick up.Four and a half weeks later tracking is still not updated.Just got my money back on ebay as I was sick and tired of waiting. This company takes on too much work and cannot handle it.They have no social media and the reason for this is the sheer amount of complaints they would receive from angry customers. The corporate heads seem deluded. The XDP website belongs in 2003 and the tracking service is embarrassing, zero details, no emails, just a pathetic customer facing website with a lorry in the background and a video. I am really surprised that companies still use xdp, my advise is if you find out that someone is using XDP as a courier tell them you want an alternative because these guys are cowboys and are so unprofessional. Its not worth the hassle.

Awful experience. I arranged my delivery to be delivered to my back drive as I’m a cancer patient and just had surgery on my throat . I’m a single mum to two boys and I’m classed as a vulnerable person so we are all in lock down for 12 weeks . The driver dropped first box on my front door step and rang my doorbell , stepped back to gate . I said hi sorry this needs to be delivered to my back drive . Nope cannot do that and walked away to get the bigger box . Very upset

If I could give 0 star I will. My husband ordered gym equipment from Fitness Superstore due to the lockdown and the coronavirus situation. The day that the 5 boxes were supposed to be delivered to us we were tracking the app and stopped 2 stops before us. Next day the tracking said the items were delivered and signed for (you could see the picture of the initials of my husband in the paper, joke). We were both working from home, so nothing was delivered to us. It tooks a police report, cctv records, building manager involvement and 7 millions of phone calls and emails later to find out that this people delivered the items to a diferent building and a diferent flat, not checking ids, letting another people take and sign for our goods, and on the top of that being adamants that they deliverered the items to the correct place. The matter is in police hands and XDP didnt do anything to fix the situation, shame on them.

No delivery, just a message from amazon prime saying sorry were running late. No tracking info or anything. 2 days late now. Pathetic. I will be asking sellers if they use xdp in future and won't be buying from them if they do. Bad service.

Where to start I was contacted by phone on the Friday pm to ask if delivery could be made on the Monday which I had to decline as both my wife and I where working, Monday morning I had a phone call from delivery driver to ask whereabouts on the street we were, I had to explain that no one was in. Email on the Thursday they had tried to deliver at 8.07 am four people were in the house in a small cul de sac No prior contact from xpd lies . Phoned the Range Friday told The parcels were on the van xpd would contact me within 1/2 hour to arrange delivery no phone call. Phoned on the Monday to complain told they would deliver it Tuesday took Tuesday off work guess what no delivery ! Phoned on the Wednesday to cancel the order told full refund from the range could take Upto 14 days, phoned 12 days later they contacted xpd who apologised to the range as all four parcels were just sitting in their warehouse , the range then advised me it could be Upto 14 days until I got a refund will not buy anything from the range that needs delivered again, unless they change delivery suppliers ordered similar product from Argos delivered next day lol RANT OVER
