I ordered a bed through wayfair.co.uk and Tesco. I had an email to say my delivery would come Tuesday 10th feb - didn't come. Got an email the next day saying it would be delivered by 1330. The guy knocked the door and straight away posted the missed delivery note - had my order number on so must have written it in the van! I opened the door and he was already hopping back in his van, he saw me at the door and still drove away. I phoned the number on the delivery note straight away to say what had just happened and the lovely bloke on the phone said 'nah he wouldn't waste £50 in fuel just to do that' after agreeing to disagree he said he would contact the courier and get him to come back. And guess what? He didn't come back. I decided to phone wayfair themselves and told them what had happened. They said they would contact XDP and see what's going on. This morning (Thursday 12th feb) I had a message to say my delivery would come between 1025 and 1325. And yep no show again. Phoned wayfair again and they are contacting XDP to find out what's going on. Absolutely awful company! Avoid if you can! It's definitely put me off ordering from Wayfair unfortunately even though it's not their fault!

Followed order on tracker said it wud be delivered by lunch time didn't arrive to 4 had to stay in all day if had known could have been out all morning. No point in a computerised system if it's no where near accurate...

Driver arrived 10 mins after the 3 hour delivery time given. He was very helpful though and took the item through to the room requested. However he did leave the wrong part and luckily realised this and had to return to correct the order. All in all an average delivery

The service was laughable. I am still telling people about the 'story of new bed' there is a list of things that went wrong between worldstores and xdp. Missed deliveries, no contact info to chase orders, lost items, broken items etc etc. would never recommend this company.

ZWASSR148076 AND ZWASSR148792 Do not use XDP for anything as they are unable to keep any promise, just read the reviews on this web site. Please call anyone you wish to buy from and check that this utter shambles of a company are not used, they will not deliver your goods. I ordered a mattress a week ago for a next day delivery and XDP were the chosen company used to deliver the goods. They lost the first mattress. It's 190cm x 135cm x 26cm and weights 30kg. They lost it. I waited for the replies to emails sent, nothing, and no one answers their telephones. I used saynoto0870.co.uk to find alternative telephone numbers, they didn't answer any of them and they all rang. I spoke to a number of people at World Store, and no one had a kind word to say about XDP. A lady explained to me that because there were no updates to the tracking site, it was usually down to XDP losing deliveries, I got the impression that XDP do this a lot. They sent another mattress out, same size and weight, and unfortunately this too was sent through XDP. Their tracking site was updated with receiving the mattress and I sat all weekend checking. No updates until this morning, the local depot had received and and it was placed on the van for delivery at 09:13. I received notification that my delivery was due between 12:25 and 15:25, so I waited, I even checked my door bell three times, it was working. I have windows in my flat that I can see 180 degrees to the main road, any delivery van coming, I will see. I kept refreshing the tracking site and at 13:12 I was carded, the team could not deliver the mattress and I was left a card. I have been to the front door, there is no card. I have just received a call from XDP in Birmingham who have informed me, "There was an update in the system at 11:30 that they could not fit the mattress on the van and it will be delivered on Tuesday. It took them over two hours to realise that something would not fit, and then it took four hours for their Customer Service to inform me? I vented my anger over the phone to the poor girl tasked to call me, and for that I apologise. But it doesn't excuse XDP's ability to lie to customers and avoid their core business, delivering. I have since called World Stores and cancelled the order with them. Funnily enough XDP can update World Stores system of the call they made to me ten minutes before I cancelled the order, but they are unable to keep their customers updated. The episode has cost me more than the mattress cost in the first place. You have been warned.

I ordered a bed to be delivered Friday 30th. It turned up on Thursday 29th. The courier refused to tell me when he could re deliver an who he was working for so I couldn't sort it out with the office he also put the phone down on me twice and then refused to pick up after blatantly telling me he would not help me further. My parents waited in, in an unlived in and unheated house from 8 to 6 on the Friday and it never came. I was assured that it would be delivered the following Friday between 10 and 12. My parents waited - by 1pm nothing - was then told between 3 and 6. At 6.20pm when the office was still supposedly open, they rang but no response and gave up. Have left a message with out of hours service - no response again. These people are morons - clearly evident by the response you do get when they finally do answer!

How the hell is this company still in business??? Extremely incompetent drivers, never answer the phone or emails, deliver wrong items and often lie to customers to fob them off. wouldn't touch with a barge pole. AVOID.

Free next day delivery if purchased before 12:00, so I got my order in by 08:50. I had never heard of XDP, but seeing as though City Link have gone bust, I guess there is a place for another poor supplier of delivery services, and XDP didn't hang around to fill it. I look forward to being proven wrong tomorrow, but I very much doubt it.

Worst delivery company in history!! FACT!! I ordered bed last monday and selected delivery date of thursday 29/1/15 not delivered again was promised friday still not arrived and again Saturday i wasted 3 days for this useless delivery company after several promises made over the phone. Eventually got a phone call from delivery driver monday saying he was 5 mins away wanting to make delivery which i rushed home to collect and waited another 45 mins for him to show not reliable at all. I would suggest everyone avoids this delivery company not deserving of your hard earned cash.

Am so angry with this company I had a bed that was meant to be delivered on the 27th January. It came after 2 days but only box 1 of 2 I asked the delivery man where's the other box he goes we know theres another box for this property it's should be coming latest two days. I have been calling the company so many times no one picks up. It's the 1st of February still no package I been waiting for a bed now five days. When I called the company that I ordered the bed from they said xdp lost the box and the delivery man lied to me. So now another replacement box is out for delivery this may take another five days. Such a poor service I recommend no one to use this service I am applauded.

Terrible. A week late in delivery. Still turned up despite having been told the order was cancelled. Driver swore repeatedly at me, despite being in the grounds of an infant school. Tracking website doesn't work, phone is never answered . emails never responded to. Avoid like the plague

Have been waiting for a delivery for over ten days! They don't pick up the phone and don't call back if you leave a message. Avoid this Courier at all cost!

My son asked me to babysit his house for an expected delivery. He gave me the tracking number which showed it was received at their depot on 16th. I emailed them asking for an anticipated day/time as it takes about 20 mins travelling. No reply to email! Checked several times a day until this morning. Still showing at depot. Just received a phone call from my son. Driver is at house and wants to leave around the back! What a rubish outfit, just as bad as Yodel.

No contact from the company at all, and it was not delivered. Tracking says they tried to deliver on 12 and 17th- they didn't come!!!!!I was in all day .No word from them since. They don't answer emails ,voicemails and phone calls. Do not use this company!!!!!!!!

I had a bed that was supposed to be ordered on or before 6th Jan. No contact from the company at all, and it was not delivered. Tracking says they tried to deliver on 7th and 8th - they didn't as I was in all day. No word from them since. They don't answer emails and there is no phone number to call. I have contacted amazon to ask if I can cancel my order and get a full refund. Do not use this company if you ever want to see anything you bought!

I am not a fan of courier companies in general, but when one affects yours and your families life, heads should roll, like most of your other reviewers my experience has been with the companies inability to actually perform the simplest of tasks "delivering a parcel" a service that they went into business to provide, ironic really, I have yet to have my issues resolved but I also think that the companies that hire these morons should take some of the responsibility as by consistently using the services of an inept company they are almost giving them a "Green Light" to carry on not performing even the most basic standards of customer service, XDP are not alone I might add Yodel and UK Mail are equally bad in providing a truly appalling service.

Far the worst courier service I have ever experienced. They are completely unreliable and it is impossible to contact them. Try to avoid.

I was advised by my supplier, My delivery was scheduled for Monday 22nd dec. I confirmed via the web the package was in xdp depot 800. So I had taken a day off work but the delivery did not appeared. I have left 3 voicemails through out the day as xdp lines don't seem to be getting answered? Requesting ETAs. Not one of the messages has been returned. This is very poor customer service! I know it is a busy time but returning a message is a basic courtesy. A whole holiday day wasted because xdp can't deliver when told. I had further future orders planned with the supplier but I can't guarantee the delivery service so i am now looking at other vendors. Who use different courier s.
