“Very unreliable courier service! Messed about over & over again!!
Delivery scheduled for 19/2/15 got text early to say delivery would be in afternoon but never arrived. Got in contact with company who dispatched item theybquickly rearranged for 20/2/15 NEVER ARRIVED!! Rearranged AGAIN for 21/2/15 and surprise surprise NEVER ARRIVED!! Its now 23/2/15 and im STILL WAITING for my delivery. I will be cancelling my order first thing tomorrow and i expect a full refund and more for all my troubles!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS UNRELIABLE COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO RECIEVE YOUR GOODS ON TIME!!”
“The problem is that you only get a message on THE DAY that the item is going to be delivered and therefore have no time to plan to work from home, etc.
I also had the first delivery that didn't go ahead as the driver noticed the item was damaged. That is good of him of course, but no-one told me what had happened - all I knew was that I got a text to say something was going to be delivered and yet it wasn't?! I had to call the original people I ordered from to find out what had happened...”

“Only got an email and text on day of delivery. I phoned to say I wouldn't be in at the time stated and was informed that it would either be left with a neighbour or re delivered. However when I got home it had been left by the side of my house by the bins with no note through the door. Thank god it didn't rain but I was not impressed.”
“This company is the worst delivery company I have ever known. They let us know our item was out for delivery with only 45 minutes notice, by which time we were already at work. THEN we rang XDP and they assured us the package (a bed) would be with us the next day. So we waited. And waited. And waited. ALL DAY WE WAITED and no bed. We got time off work for this. And then the next day: NO BED. So, we EMAILED, CALLED and left VOICEMAILS asking for someone to please contact us regarding our beds delivery. Nothing. No emails were answered and the phone just went straight to a giff gaff answer machine every time. SO our next step was to contact eBay and cancel the order, which we did. Then YESTERDAY with NO WARNING AT ALL, the bed arrived. A little girl from XDP who looked about 18 knocked on our door with a man in a white van with our delivery. We told them we had actually cancelled the order and all we got from the seemingly brain dead Neanderthal girl was "oh...right". And that was it. The guy then preceded to bring in all the boxes and they were in such a state. All the cardboard was ripped and dented. Now we've opened the package and the bed is broken - no doubt from being in XDP's warehouse for over a week and stuff just being thrown on top of it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. XDP ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Now we do not have a bed to sleep on. I just hope this review is enough to warn other people. Let's just hope they go into administration.”
“Was given a specific delivery time of between 10:47 & 13:47 but parcel didn't arrive until 20:30, when I asked the driver why it was so late his response was "I deliver when I want to deliver, I've told the branch not to give specific delivery times" I also emailed xdp but got no response and also rang them and got no response. Worst courier I've ever dealt with”
“Xdp express has the most poorest customer service! After having my parcel (my bed) in the delivery depot for days, I emailed them to see when my parcel would be delivered to have No reply. Today at 10.30 I received a text message to say my parcel will be delivered between 11.21 and 2.21. At 3.15 I phoned to see where my parcel is after having my partner take the day off to come and wait in for it. I rang and got told it couls take up to 4pm!! I told the rude man on the phone (who couldn't speak good English) that that was unacceptable as I had a text telling me what time to expect my parcel. He then changed it to the delivery driver is running late and will come in 45 minutes! Its ridiculous!!!!!!! I shall be emailing groupon and speaking to the manager of xdp to maintain this is sorted! Seems to happen to everybody using xdp services! No good! Absolute ridiculous customer service. Think they need new staff who aren't rude and have good time keeping skills!”
“When I placed my order it was on a 4-6 week delay and was told that I would receive an email where I could pick a delivery day. However, one day I got a text saying that the item I ordered would be arriving that day in a matter of hours. Me and my partner were both at work all day so wouldn't be at home to sign for it and check it so I rang the company and they said that they would tell the driver not to deliver the item and re-arrange delivery for a few days later when I would be at home. This did not happen. When I finished work I got a voicemail saying that they had left my parcel, which was a sofa bed, with hour neighbours who we had never met before and let them sign for it. I was unhappy with this as we didn't know the people and we wanted to check the item wasn't damaged before we signed for it. When I rang the driver to find out what happened I told him that I didn't appreciate him leaving my parcel with people we didn't know without our permission and I got abuse down the phone and was told that it was not his problem and that I should take it up with the company that I bought the item from. When I asked the driver for his name so I could speak to the delivery company about situation he hung up on me immediately. My main issue was with the drivers attitude however the company should have a policy where items should not be left with anyone other than the person that ordered it unless permission is given to do so.”
“The delivery was dropped off at our neighbours house in the morning time slot when I hadn't planned to be in. Our scheduled time was 3.30 to 6.30p.m.
We had no delivery note left so lucky our neighbours are trustworthy and dropped it off!”
“Reasonably urgent order for our elderly parents - Two beds should have come flat-packed in 6 boxes - only 5 arrived driver thought he had given it to another delivery - said he would go & get it & deliver later that day (he didn't) - headboard still missing & still haven't received it one week on”

“I ordered a bed through wayfair.co.uk and Tesco. I had an email to say my delivery would come Tuesday 10th feb - didn't come. Got an email the next day saying it would be delivered by 1330. The guy knocked the door and straight away posted the missed delivery note - had my order number on so must have written it in the van! I opened the door and he was already hopping back in his van, he saw me at the door and still drove away. I phoned the number on the delivery note straight away to say what had just happened and the lovely bloke on the phone said 'nah he wouldn't waste £50 in fuel just to do that' after agreeing to disagree he said he would contact the courier and get him to come back. And guess what? He didn't come back. I decided to phone wayfair themselves and told them what had happened. They said they would contact XDP and see what's going on. This morning (Thursday 12th feb) I had a message to say my delivery would come between 1025 and 1325. And yep no show again. Phoned wayfair again and they are contacting XDP to find out what's going on. Absolutely awful company! Avoid if you can! It's definitely put me off ordering from Wayfair unfortunately even though it's not their fault!”

“Driver arrived 10 mins after the 3 hour delivery time given. He was very helpful though and took the item through to the room requested. However he did leave the wrong part and luckily realised this and had to return to correct the order. All in all an average delivery”
“The service was laughable. I am still telling people about the 'story of new bed' there is a list of things that went wrong between worldstores and xdp. Missed deliveries, no contact info to chase orders, lost items, broken items etc etc. would never recommend this company.”

Do not use XDP for anything as they are unable to keep any promise, just read the reviews on this web site. Please call anyone you wish to buy from and check that this utter shambles of a company are not used, they will not deliver your goods. I ordered a mattress a week ago for a next day delivery and XDP were the chosen company used to deliver the goods. They lost the first mattress. It's 190cm x 135cm x 26cm and weights 30kg. They lost it. I waited for the replies to emails sent, nothing, and no one answers their telephones. I used saynoto0870.co.uk to find alternative telephone numbers, they didn't answer any of them and they all rang. I spoke to a number of people at World Store, and no one had a kind word to say about XDP. A lady explained to me that because there were no updates to the tracking site, it was usually down to XDP losing deliveries, I got the impression that XDP do this a lot. They sent another mattress out, same size and weight, and unfortunately this too was sent through XDP. Their tracking site was updated with receiving the mattress and I sat all weekend checking. No updates until this morning, the local depot had received and and it was placed on the van for delivery at 09:13. I received notification that my delivery was due between 12:25 and 15:25, so I waited, I even checked my door bell three times, it was working. I have windows in my flat that I can see 180 degrees to the main road, any delivery van coming, I will see. I kept refreshing the tracking site and at 13:12 I was carded, the team could not deliver the mattress and I was left a card. I have been to the front door, there is no card. I have just received a call from XDP in Birmingham who have informed me, "There was an update in the system at 11:30 that they could not fit the mattress on the van and it will be delivered on Tuesday. It took them over two hours to realise that something would not fit, and then it took four hours for their Customer Service to inform me? I vented my anger over the phone to the poor girl tasked to call me, and for that I apologise. But it doesn't excuse XDP's ability to lie to customers and avoid their core business, delivering. I have since called World Stores and cancelled the order with them. Funnily enough XDP can update World Stores system of the call they made to me ten minutes before I cancelled the order, but they are unable to keep their customers updated. The episode has cost me more than the mattress cost in the first place. You have been warned.”
