“I bought this bed frame after quite a lot of research into various similar models and am really happy that I chose to buy this bed from Abdabs Furniture. The quality of the bed is great - the finish is really pretty (unlike a lot of shoddy looking metal frame beds that are available elsewhere). More importantly, it is an incredibly sturdy bed - I was worried about creaking but it makes no sound and is really solid. It might be my imagination but it seems like it has made the mattress that I already had more comfortable - this might be down to the sprung base or a figment of my imagination, but either way, I'm really very pleased with the bed. It is extremely good value for money and was pretty easy to put together (I did it on my own in about 90 minutes I'd say).”

“I can't fault this company. They kept in touch right through to delivery. Table came, we built it. A couple of Marks on 2 of the legs. I contacted them and they sent another 2 out with no hassle or questions. I would purchase from them again and recommend.”

“Poor customer service and very slow delivery! Received an email with the tracking number once my order was dispatched. Tracking number was not showing any tracking details at all. During the week sent couple of emails with request to provide any information where my order is and when I can expect it. Have not received response at all. Only once I opened disput on PayPal that order has not been received. 15 minutes later received an email with a new tracking number. Order arrived in 17 days since placed my order. Bad experience!”

Unfortunately, some items currently have a longer delivery lead time than normal. Extended delivery lead times are clearly stated on the items product page and in customer order confirmation emails. This order was for a product with a delivery lead time of within 20 working days. We missed one email from the customer notifying us that the tracking wasn't working. We are looking at our system to ensure that we don't miss any customer emails in the future. We are sorry that our customer service didn't meet our high standards this time.

“We ordered the Brooklyn wine rack from you more than a month ago and items came completely bent and the metal bits got scratched and damaged. We tried to contact the customer service dept to request a replacement but so far haven’t heard anything from you. There is no phone number to contact either which is rather worrying. Are you going to send us the replacements we need or refund us the money so we can choose a different company with better services?”

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you have an extended wait for the parts. This is due to us and the supplier of the item being out of stock of the parts. As advised you may return the item in its original condition for a full refund or wait for the parts to come back into stock. We are sorry that we are unable to resolve the issue any sooner for you.

“Found a chest of drawers £60 cheaper than a well known website was selling them for. Updates on delivery would have been useful but the drawers turned up earlier than expected and was exactly the piece I wanted. Some other good stuff on their website as well. Probably will purchase more from Abdabs as they seem to beat most other retailers on price. Recommend.”

Thank you for your feedback. The Boston chest of drawers is traditionally constructed with wooden drawer runners and dovetail drawer joints. Whilst the drawers don't have modern metal easy glide runners they do offer great durability.

“Ordered a single pedestal corona dovetailed drawers dressing table on 11th May 2020 at a cost of £99.99 with delivery given between 2 to 7 days. 19 days later after numerous emails the package arrived. Bit surprised it seem to be flat packed. Son came next day to assemble it for me and I was surprised to find the drawers weren’t dovetailed. They had sent the cheaper version which was £79. Contacted them saying although it wasn’t what I had ordered would keep it but wanted a refund of £20.99 as I had paid dovetailed drawers. No reply. Finally after further emails they wanted a photo of labels on packing. Didn’t have the packing but had noted down all barcodes and labels on the packaging which was sent to them. They then wanted delivery docket and photos of drawers to prove what I was saying. Sent email with this information. No reply so sent yet another email 7 days later. They said hadn’t received the info so sent it again. Now it is now 9th July over a month later nothing from them. No email and definitely no refund. Not answering phone don’t trust their contact form any more.DEFINITELY DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They take your money send the wrong item and keep the extra money you pay for themselves. Customer service is non-existent in this Company”

We are sorry we didn't reach our normal level of customer service in this instance. As this was an unusual case it took us longer to investigate. The customer has been refunded the difference of £20. Due to the higher volume of orders and customer inquiries at this time, we are only responding via email and the contact us form on our website as advised to the customer. 90% of enquiries are responded to within two working days.

“Furniture is ok quality for the price paid. But terrible instructions of how to put it together. Parts not numbered so hard to tell which is which from instructions. Service from Abdabs was good, they communicated when my delivery would take place and was relatively quick.”

“Absolutely appalling - customer service is non existent. Surely the bottom line is to deliver exactly what the customer has ordered in one go in a timely manner? Sounds simple enough one would think. Order finally arrived after several weeks of chasing only to receive 2 of 3 parcels...1 unpacked box all over the lounge with the rest of it either in the warehouse or rattling around in the back of a delivery van. Guess what, no way to contact either Abdabs or the courier other than email which give an automated response time of 5 days! DO NOT USE !!!!”

We are sorry to hear that the courier company split your delivery. Very occasionally this happens at the delivery depot. The rest of customers orders are usually delivered the following working day when this happens. Some of our products currently have up to 20 working days delivery lead time. Delivery lead times for our products are displayed on the items product page. The extended lead times have been caused by the higher than usual demand and the Covid secure measures in place.
