“I placed an order for the first time almost a month ago and it has been an awful experience ever since. I received my order for an upcoming trip and 3 of the 5 shirts were missing. The shirts are now out of stock and can’t be replaced in the original size ordered. I have now tried to reach out to Customer Service several times with an easy resolution to this with no response. This is very disappointing and will probably be the last time I order after this experience.”
“The two items featured for spoilers are great even if the wax warmer didn't come with a tea light for me to use right then. The wand was okay as in quality but the coloring on it looked unfinished. The book sleeve was disappointing since most people have e-readers or kindles and we had a book sleeve sent in a previous box before. The magnetic board looked nice but the thought of losing the little word pieces seemed trival to keep up with and not very useful as an everyday item. Just expected 2 big items in the box would be more updated and useful.”
“I was really excited to receive my Accio box! Big Harry Potter fan. I felt like the May box was geared towards children. I thought I might get a tshirt as well, that’s what I get for thinking lol! The only item I enjoy is the tumbler with straw. Too many paper goods and childish things ie: paper ministry lunch bag, note paper, pencil box and 3 pencils, pencil soft case and 1 set of silverware. And spello tape. I’ve seen many great boxes, this was underwhelming and childish. Adults love HP too! I watch Cherry Wallis unboxings and thought wow I love the concept. The delivery time wasn’t bad, however the price I paid for this particular box was a waste of money. The quality on most items was beyond my expectations. Now there’s quarterly boxes, I’m going to take one more chance. I love the concept and that fans make the items for fans! If the Accio box is geared toward children please let me know. Thank you. It should be said, I know there’s many, many people who enjoy the boxes and it’s a unique and fun way to dive into the world of HP. I’m thinking positive and can’t wait to see what’s next. Sorry my review wasn’t positive, I believe in feedback in my business as well, good or bad. It helps us grow as companies. I haven’t contacted customer service or asked for a refund, I have nieces and nephews who would love the items.”
“I think it must just be personal taste at this point. I just haven't been crazy about hardly any of the items of the past year. I've been hanging on, in hopes that they would get better, but for me, they haven't. I do still enjoy the staff shirts and occasionally another item or two from the box each month, but it's getting harder and harder to justify paying over $50 each month for paper/plastic, sometimes quite small, items. I'm hoping the new direction of the box will be just the shift needed to feel as though we are getting our money's worth. Would love to see more replicas or subtle nods to the series. Definitely would like higher quality items with materials such as glass, metal, even resin would be good. Maybe find an alternative for the shirts, possibly different wareables. I don't know...all I know is that I'm putting a lot of faith in this new direction. If it's no better, then it might just be time to cancel.”
“Came back because of the Luna box, unfortunately it was a bigger disappointment than previous boxes. items felt extremely cheap and so tired of T-shirts. I feel the value of the box is based strictly around an imagined value of a T-shirt. I will be canceling my subscription again, so sad this has the potential to be such a great box”
