Awful company & would not renew with them. I had recently moved & living in a shared house with no bills in my name - they were unhelpful, not understanding, rude, threatening to cancel my policy within a 10 days & like no other company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I work for an insurance company myself & know my company would not tolerate the sort of customer service I received. I was having to call continuously at my own cost & time to see if they would allow me more time (they wouldn't) & to see if they had received my documents when I sent them. I was told I couldn't cancel without paying a fee & I was charged additional premiums as I have 4 years no claims but had only held my licence for 3 years & 10 months.. this was not clear on the application form. Awful experience & I cannot wait to renew elsewhere.

Very hard to speak to someone from achoice. They ask for all documents after taking your money then tell you that you have to pay more after and charge admin fees at ridiculous rates. Would recommend not going to this company very poor

The worst insurance company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Never sent me any copys of insurance documents. Then when I did have a accident that was a 3rd partys fault did absolutly nothing to help me they put me through to a company to obtain a hire car the day after I picked up my hire car from Enterprise (very good company to deal with) I had a phone call from Enterprise telling me that my insurance has informed them that there is no third party to pay for it. I was shocked after the phone call as I had given my insurers all the details of the other driver involved including policy details etc. I ended up having to sort the whole thing out myself, which makes me wonder why I ever paid a penny to such a useless company that dosen't even help you after you have been involved in a accident absolutly USELESS!!! My advice is never ever deal with a choice insurance pay that little bit extra and know your getting a service that you have paid for.

They do not pick up the phone. They do not Read Emails, let alone reply to them. Bunch of crooks. Avoid at all costs. A Choice? I wish I had made a choice when I was looking for Insurance and not gone with these crooks. They requested NCB, and Driving license details, which I forwarded within a few days. They then called to advise they had received these but needed my Card license as well, with smart phones these days its so easy to take a photo and send it over.. And I did THE SAME DAY. Bare in mind this was back in may, a few days back... I receive a letter advising my policy would be cancelled due to non Receipt of documents, I attempt to call them. After 10 minutes on hold, I get an automated message advising my call could not be connected, and to call at my earliest convenience?! I kid you not this has happened all 3 times I have attempted to call them after this cancellation letter. I'm taking this up with the FOS - I advise anyone with the same issues to follow suit.

Took out the policy then was bombarded with request for documents that aren't normally required. Never actually received documents until I contacted them then had to pay an admin fee. They might be a few pound cheaper but you will pay the difference in hassle.

achoice - should be a* holes, most incompetent customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, never ever again would I use this bunch of half wits. They really do need exposing for what they are - rip off merchants, got your money so to cancel we will keep it and you can do one. These idiots informed me I had many claims and I had to prove I did not.

Definitely will not be renewing my insurance with them! After belittling me and making me cry with how abusive they were when I was trying to get my insurance sorted out last year, they have now sent my renewal premium through to insure me again and its £470 more expensive! I have not had an accident or a single claim! Absolute shambles! Pay the extra £10 and go through another insurance company, trust me you won't regret it!

They don't provide complete information online. They charge £50 cancellation fee for only being insured for one day. I bought policy online via compare website on Saturday as a comprehensive cover but when called did find out i can not able to drive any other vehicle. they charged me £50 cancellation fee. They are ripping off the hard earned money. they don't advertise full detail about there policy. I was lucky i was not caught by police for driving any of my friend car...... I advise to completely avoid buying policy from them. Trust me!!!!

THE WORST! STAY AWAY! What a shambles. if you don't want to sit on hold for 20 minutes and then get through to a highly uneducated brummy 'customer service advisor' who clearly isn't bothered about you or the policy then run for the hills. 3 different people got my info wrong, costing over £20 in phoning back. Ask for a manager call back to get everything finalised at the start of June, was promised this would be within 48 hours. Today it's 28th June and no contact. A dozen or so emails have been sent, no reply. Pay the extra few quid and go for the next cheapest insurance company if this shower is the cheapest.

Absolute ignorance by this company, I have renewed my insurance & during this process someone drove into the front of my car, luckily the damage wasn't to costly, but as advised I called in to claim. I decided to cancel the claim as this would only increase my premium, they are now ignoring the details I have sent to them, by request, to complete the policy agreement, I have had two emails prior to sending the correct documents saying they haven't received them (by email, the given link site or post, I sent all three) & when I ring no one picks up & the line goes dead. Absolute pathetic customer service & God forbid anyone who has to go through the claims process with them. I will definitely be moving insurers.

A Choice were a nightmare to speak to, did not send through items when they argreed and one person told me one thing contrary to others. I sent off the policy document acceptance and they denied received it, so after three attempts, I did get a response saying that they had received an earlier version! As a new self-employed businessman the experience was very stressfull just at a time when my cash-flow situation was weak. I would not recommend A-Choice in a month of Sundays!

I took the car insurance policy through go compare. On the site it said my premium was £375, then once I bought it I was actually charged £441. I called and had to wait 20 mins to get through to an adviser. They said they had no idea why I was quoted £375. I had to wait till the next day to speak to someone again. They said if I canceled my policy I would get a £75 cancelation charge.. For 24 hours after signing up it rediculous. So it made no sense to cancel so I'm afraid I had no choice to stay with them.unfortunatly!
