Avoid this company like the plague , all went great on initial contact , paid for the year and was told to expect documentation in the mail to complete and return, , nothing arrived except a letter of cancellation ,,thereafter they were almost impossible to contact by phone , eventually I discover that they are keeping almost half of the premium for 3 weeks of cover ,,,absolute rogues and liars ,,do not even consider them ,,

What went right?!! They give you a competitive price to suck you in, then request unnecessary documentation, then I called 10 days after policy to make a small adjustment and they wanted nearly £400. Customer service is appalling. I have since cancelled policy costing me nearly £200 but would not give them a penny further of my money. I've returned to LV whom I was with previously.

My information was put onto the system Incorrectly and meant that i had to pay a fee to change this information which was frustrating but was resolved.

I insured my vehicle with A Choice as my policy came up for renewal. I was asked to send over documents showing my driving licence and no claims information (why they needed this on a quote with 0 no claims i'll never know). A month or 2 later i then recieve an email saying that they are cancelling my insurance due to the documents i sent. Company is an absolute joke, avoid at all costs. In this case, stick to names that you recognise and not these bunch of cowboys

PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT GO WITH A CHOICE INSURANCE/PREMIUM INSURANCE! I've just cancelled my policy as I was so scared that if something happened to my car I wouldn't be covered! They've withheld over £300 of my money (as I paid upfront) to cancel my policy! They take £50 as a administration fee and the rest was for themselves as commission. I'm so upset. Please don't make my mistake! Yes they may be the cheapest overall but there is a reason! They are Cowboys! So even at a £300 loss and I'm now paying £500 more for new insurance (with swift cover) I finally feel so relieved. I wish I could have done something about this awful company! Surely £250 isn't right?

Wish I didn't have to use one star. Terrible absolutely terrible customer service. They cancelled my insurance without writing or telling me. I changed my address and they didn't alter it, it was only because I rang to inform them I was expecting that I found out I had no insurance. So now I have wasted £179 for insurance a month when online it should only be £71!!! And got no no Claims out if it. No help with that, rang and emailed numerous times and just been ignored. Please do not waste your money on people that aren't willing to help you.!!!

This is the most UNHELPFUL driving insurance company ever barley been so cured with them a week and they sent me a email to say there cancelling my policy because I didn't send back a welcome pack they sent which I didn't receive I phoned them today to solve this issue to say I had untill Saturday for them to cancel it anyway and wanting the outstanding payment still. I have always been insured with diamond and never had a problem so very helpful and friendly unlike this waste of time company. So pissed off that I have to cough up yet again for more money for a new insurance. Back to diamond.

I have never dealt with a group as rude as these people don’t get me wrong insurance price is very good but the customer service team need to straighten up because that is putting the company down

Please beware of this insurance company!! They maybe cheap but say they want all documents from your previous insurance company which I can understand, they then insist they haven't received the documentation and cancel the insurance after they have taken over £260. I do think this is a micky mouse insurance site and that it may not be actually a company at all. You hear of insurance scams where people set up offices in living rooms I've seen it on TV I do think that this A Choice is one of those scams. Pay that little bit extra and be sure that you are insured properly.

Beware of this company, stay well clear, pay that bit extra and go to a company with common sense and a professional attitude to car insurance. They have a number of hidden charges, especially on cancellation and their communication on reminders is wholly inadequate. Like most things in life that are cheap, they are cheap for a reason.

STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!! This is literally the worst insurance company I have ever had since starting to drive. They may come up the cheapest but they are an absolute joke. STAY CLEAR. They are un helpful, they take ages to get back to you, they never give you a solution to anything. You go from call to call to a different person every time. They don't get back to you or keep you up dated. I would rather walk for the rest of my life than have to insure anything through this company. It is a joke and pathetic and basically a scam. I can not put into words how appalling this company is.

PLEASE BE VERY AWARE OF ACHOICE INSURANCE! May be cheap at times but are a terrible company to deal with as they are only a broker and not a insurance company. Very hard to call, average time I waited was 40 minutes, only answer emails many days later, they ask for documents that are not possible to get. Example threatened to cancel the policy as my Daughters name was not on our council tax form which would not be as myself and my Wife are the house owners. Left my Daughter with no insurance to drive as they never called back with a new quote as they closed at 5pm and when they did the next day it was if it wasn't a problem! Cancelled this policy which we payed £1750 for up front! Yet now I've cancelled I have to up to 30 days for my refund! MY ADVISE IS PAY A TOUCH MORE AND GET INSURED WITH INSURANCE COMPANY AND NOT A BROKER.

I selected A Choice on the basis they were cheapest on price comparison sites, unfortunately once you have the quote everything has to be confirmed via telephone, even though you have input all details they have to be repeated verbally. The telephone manner of their staff is awful bordering on arrogant, needless to say the quote was not honoured for some spurious reason. There are plenty of great insurance companies out there this is not one of them avoid

Verry bad.called them many times and they didnt provide what they said.my policy ended up costing more because they bad communication.I will not recommended to anyone.Worst experience.

A big charge for a small change on a date with regards my license. Immediately after taking the policy and then about 3 months later (wondered how they didn't notice the first time round). An expensive charge just to update a spreadsheet.

Dreadful company! Cancelled my policy with them, then they would not release my proof of no claims. Customer service was nonexistent. Phoned 8 times in a week, spoke to the same person three times, different BS excuse every time. Would strongly recommend avoiding at all costs. Absolute shambles!

As I didn't need to claim during my policy I cannot comment on how efficiently any action would have been taken care of. I did however, have to call up to enquire about insuring a second car with the achoice. The customer service skills are none existent which I found strange considering how much money I would potentially be paying them. poorly trained staff who seemed not to know any of the answers to my questions took a lifetime to research what i needed to know whilst i was on hold. Eventually i found the staff so rude i cancelled my policy then and there and asked for a copy of my NCB history to take to a new insurer. This, of course, never arrived.
