Waiting for a reset code for my business and ADT automated system broken. Tried to get through to an agent absolutely useless. Have to leave business unarmed because of useless alarm company

ADT is a shockingly bad company! Avoid at all costs! Asked for an engineer to fix my alarm - a callout was arranged and cancelled multiple times without any reason. Escalated through ADT's complaints process and heard nothing back. Absolutely zero customer service at all. ADT, do us all a favour and cease trading!!

we were with them for ten years why I don't know the cost went up and up were supposed to get 2 visits a year thrash year we got no visits the systems were constantly going off called them ten months from there previous visit we had 1 visit the year before and had to request it it did not stop the direct debiting every month don't use this company they said someone would be in touch for the last visit it did not happen and after we left they still tried to debit our bank so we paid for a year without a visit which is £700.00 plus shocking company the Loch Maree Hotel was my company I don't mind saying as this is true

Avoid at all costs. Can i give this no stars? I rarely write reviews, but ADT have been so bad that I've actually started seeking out places to had to warn others. I've not received such terrible service from any company, let alone a security company, for a very long time. They give you conflicting info on the phone and via email. We had multiple false alarms (8 in 3 months!) which they told us they could do nothing about. My keyholders came to our property on several of these occasions and no one from ADT ever so much as emailed to check on it. They have no helpline outside of hours. They lie (they actually claimed the thing had never been false alarming, despite us having telephone records to prove otherwise!) Despite multiple false alarms and one of the sensors being removed (!) they didn't contact us once and were completely oblivious. Says alot for the level of security theyre offering. They attempted to raise their direct debit from £30 to £48 one year with no explanation or service change. They continued to charge the direct debit despite cancellation and told me it would take two weeks to refund due to a technical error - can you imagine what they would be like in a real security situation!?

Avoid this company they are the worst company I’ve ever known. They promise to ring you back never do. They promise to solve your issue but never do. They need to be shut down as they don’t keep to there promises and take your money. Without fixing your issues very bad customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.

It started off well at £20 per month, then increased rapidly to £44 per month. Then when I tried to cancel and give one months notice to cancel . The System was down . Took ages to speak to a phone operator. The lines are Not 24/7 like the Ordering Lines . Then came a letter about the Direct Debit being cancelled that I myself had done because their System was down. I had to take Action because the Company doesn't give a good Customer Service once they have a paying customer.

I have been with ADT for just over 1 year, in that time I've had multiple issues with my alarm system and trying to sort things out has been a nightmare, there customer service has been one incompetent staff after another, lieing to me over and over again. Three weeks ago one of the outdoor sensors on my drive kept on going off in the nite, I called them at 5.30am and was told an engineer would be booked in for 10am to replace it, at 11am I called them and was told he will be over after lunch (not given a time just told after lunch) I called back at 4pm and was told he had been delayed and would be with me by 6pm, then at 6pm I was called and told he now wouldn't be coming cos he didn't have a new sensor on his van! and was told an engineer would be over the next morning at 10am. The engineer turned up and didn't have a clue what the problem was, I told him the sensor on the drive needed to be replaced, he then replied 'Sorry mate I don't keep them on the van' I WAS NOT HAPPY! he told me he would order me one which should arrive in 3 days and he would pop back and fit it. A week later it hadn't arrived, so I called them 3 days ago and told them it hadn't arrived, and was told the engineer would call me back with an update where it is. He never called so I called them today and was told they could see he put the order in but the parts department had no record of the order, so the only way to order it again is via the engineer, so I was put on hold while they contacted the engineer to re order it, after a 10 minute wait, I was told the engineer couldn't re order it as he doesn't know the part number (I asked the lady on the call, how could he have ordered it before if he didn't have the part number, and got a reply of 'hummmm I'm not to sure') and was told they need to find out the part number to re order it and someone would get back to me within the next 3 working day! so after a 50 minute call of more lies I basically have no idea when or how I will be getting the new sensor, I asked to speak to a manager and was told I couldn't speak to one but one would call me back in 72 hours, absolutely unbelievable. I'm shocked that a company such as ADT have such bad customer service. I now wish I would have never used them and would definitely NOT recommend them and now going to cancel my contract and try and find a better company which won't be very difficult at all.

Engineer was 8 hours late and then not only unable to fix the issue but managed to mess up the system setting so no night alarm. The call centre take hours to answer and then revert to a call back!

Once the rep got our signature the customer service went out of the window. Faulty alarm…Not worth the expense

Appaling customer service. They do not pick up phone . they rang up on customers. Security is non- existent. I will never use them again once I move.

@ADT just put up my annual alarm service to £228 from £54! The engineer is only here for 10 minutes! It’s 4 times more expensive than my boiler service! Rang customer service and they absolutely couldn’t care less.

Only a short advice,no need to waste time on writing, save your money save your nerves, if you want a piece of mind and decent sleep.Bad customer service, terrible system, just doesn't work! No matter how many times they try to fix ,a (nightmare)

Hopeless to deal with Hopeless to deal with. Fault after fault but they still want their quarterly fees being paid obviously. Countless phone calls and emails for a fault that happened around Spring due to their sub standard fitting and they even sent an engineer around on the 16th June to rectify it. We are still waiting. I wish that I could give zero stars. Avoid this company is what I tell people now

I've used ADT for 30 years and, until this year, have been happy with its services. But since they split services into Commercial and Domestic, and since it started outsourcing some engineering work, it has been a mess. My bedroom keypad began beeping at about 6.15 on Thursday and went on for about an hour. I was promised an engineer that day, again on Friday and Saturday, an engineer rang on Sunday to try to reset the system but could find no problem. The keypad continues to beep every morning, and I'm still waiting for an engineer! Avoid ADT like the plague!

Had alarm system and cameras installed. 4 weeks ago unbeknown to me I found out the bell boxes outside are dummy boxes. I complained but still waiting. Keep away from this company

The best advice I can give you, is AVIOD. Find a good local company who will be far cheaper in the long run and offer a greatly level of service. Having been a customer for 8 years for both CCTV and an Alarm, I have found that if you happily pay for the service each month (which does come at a premium cost) and do not need their service/support, then great! however - as soon as you have any problems with your alarm of CCTV, that is where ADT's service falls down drastically. When you call to get an engineer visit, they book one in, however the engineer will not turn up. When you chase that visit you simply get "sorry", we will book another.. and it goes on and on. Having ha 7 appointments now re-arrange, I have received another "sorry" we will book for next Friday... When you pay for a service such as an alarm or cctv, you appreciate that your monthly ££'s sometimes isnt value for money, however with some comfort that when you need to call upon that service then you can call upon it. Sadly - When ADT are called upon, they go missing - 7 times and counting missing. My best advice - there are many local alarm companies who can offer the same level of product, such as a police response alarm... support a local company, not this multi national company who sadly have lost all customer value and service.

This UK security company has serious issues with customer service and with delivery of contracted and pre-paid maintenance. ADT were prepaid for 12 months in early 2022 but my mother died 3 months after that payment was made. ADT were advised of her death by the legal firm that were the Executors of her estate Nevertheless, ADT sent a renewal notice 9 months later for pre-payment for a year of rental and "maintenance" which would have commenced 9 months after her death in early 2023! I suggest that if ADT had actually tried to deliver the maintenance for an invoice sent so long after my mother's death, they would have known that rather than a debt a credit was due. Instead they had their lawyer send a threatening letter to my late mother at the home which was sold only a few months after her death. Not impressed by the ethics nor by the admin.

My alarm went off. I am the primary account holder and ADT did not notify me. I turned off the alarm, and when I went to reset it. I was unable to do so. When I called the company, they said it would take them 3 hours to reset the alarm. Then they said it was my fault for not contacting them. Call me crazy, but isn't it the alarm company's job to contact me if the alarm went off.
