They renewed my car insurance took an extra months direct debit and added Β£20 renewal fee to it , even though they were informed I no longer require insurance from them , refuse to refund money. Even though the whole year had been paid up , Avoid at all costs. Disgraceful company.

SCAM DISGUISED UNDER AN INSURANCE COMPANY. AVOID If I could give them a Zero I would. I have never felt so cheated in my life. Bought home insurance with Ageas when we got our mortgage last year. Since then, we have had two issues which we needed to make a claim for. On both occasions they have conveniently managed to find a way to exclude the damages to our property and not fix the issue. They are happy to take your money when it suits them but not happy to cover any damages. They use a company called Evolution Claims Management who act as a middle man and stop any claims going through to Ageas. Two scammers working hand in hand for their mutual benefit. I actually just read an article rating Ageas as the worst insurance company when it comes to claims. I wish I had known about their dealings before I signed up. I have now cancelled my policy. AVOID BUYING HOME INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM

so am a new customer. cant even log into online system. link for replacement password not working. sat on phone 25 mins so far and still no answer. very unimpressed.

Be very very careful.I if you make a claim and accept the offer given.They will then void the offer days after you accept and end up trying to pay out less than half the original accepted offer.They are giving offers that are accepted and then trying to pay less than half putting the blame on the customer.PLEASE PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. FOOTMAN JAMES CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE EXTREMELY CONCERNED IF YOUR POLICY IS PASSED TO AGEAS BY THEM.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. All i can say is be very very aware. They will also remove your vehicle without telling you where to and then pretty much treat you like dirt.All of this is done without any payment.They will hold both you and your vehicle to ransom.

I have had the exquisite pleasure of cancelling my car insurance today following of extortionate (?illegal) monthly premiums. Initially the premiums were reasonable, then i was a accused of putting a different profession on,whilst applying online. Firstly, i had already been a member for a year when this happened and they knew i was a staff nurse. THis has been my profession my entire working life, yet apparently i had claimed i was an artist.LMFAO.

Absolutely appalling customer care, due to having subsidence on our home we had to move out. The company put all our furniture into a bad container on the front of our drive resulting in everything we owned ruined, mouldy and fit for the tip. 4 years later no furniture and no where near the end! Can never get hold of them etc... WORST DECISION WE EVER MADE! Extremely stressful 😭

Only gave one star as you can’t leave less. Customer service in the event of claim is absolutely appalling. When you make a claim they pass it onto a claims handling company. They in turn pass it onto a restoration company. They then subcontract out to various trades. There is virtually no single point of contact. You spend literally hours being held on the phone. Ageas show little interest in resolving issues in a timely manner. Basically they say tuff take it up with the FSO. Would not recommend to my worst enemy

Tried to cancel my house unsure. Currently 4 months after moving out they are still charging me and saying that they cannot cancel it. Phone lines do not work and most of the time I'm either cut off or told the office is closed, when clearly withing opening hours. Contacted through live chat in the end

Left with unsafe vehicle I would not recommend ageas!! I was involved in a non fault rta with there client, the lady was lovely and accepted full liability straight away and made sure that me and my passenger was ok. The insurance are stating that issues with my car are not accident related-yet I have only owned the car 10 weeks to date of accident! Purchased from a dealership for thousands of pounds. My car had a full mot and inspection by a garage on day of purchase and passed without one advisory!! I have been lied to on numerous occasions saying that the engineer from ageas had visited the garage to carry out an inspection on my vehicle to come to the conclusion that the issues was not accident related, this is not the case the engineer has not been to assess my car in person not once!! I was told repairs had been authorised both by telephone conversation and by letter to then be told this was a mistake and the outstanding repairs was non accident related! I was refused to speak to an engineer as apparently he didn't need to speak to me and the decision was made! I will now be left with a car that is unsafe and un-driveable with 2 young children!!! Absolutely appalling customer service!!!

Appalling service Appalling service. We damaged our carpet Christmas Eve and by 21st April they still haven't sorted it out. The original carpet cost over Β£2000 but they decided to offer Β£650.00 as a cash settlement. This is without visiting site to find out the quality of carpet or to even measure up. We have a new for old policy and have never made a claim in 25 years. Wont ever use them again.

My house insurance is with Ageas via my local council,I fell while changing curtains,my shoulder caught the side of the TV and it hit the sofa and the radiator, right side all smashed in and TV not working,so requested a claim,I have had 6 conversations with them in 2 weeks,always takes over 30 mins to answer,at first it was oh dear lets get this sorted for you,next call,we need some info from your council,next call all nearly sorted and have your bank details ready for payment,next call,well we really don't know and the person is not in and the system is down,next one the system was down and we need more info,was told someone would call me,NO call,then final call and woman wanted all the info again,even had to get the broken TV out of a big cupboard for the model number,which I had given them twice,then she said someone would call to pick the TV up and take it to a centre to see if it could be repaired,if not they would make a decision what to do next,the man from this place called shortly after and said it looked like it could be repaired,twice I told him my policy is new for old so no repair would happen,he said I should check my policy,told him no I don't need to its new for old,not made one claim and now wanting to try to repair it,its almost 5 yr old,will be speaking to the council broker on Monday,disgraceful service and over 3 and a half hours on the phone.

Having problems with ageas I have just re newed my insurance with ageas using a different broker and saved around sixty odd pounds on the day my old policy was to expire and the new one start I was looking at my e mails in the evening and found an email from said company they said they had found an issue with my policy where I hadn't declared a claim, I had told them about the incident and the broker said it would re calculate my policy price it came in at an extra pound. I accepted the quote and paid by card on the day my old policy was due to expire and the new policy start the email was asking for an addition hundred and two pounds and a few pence the broker said upon contacting them that I hadn't told them about the claim which I had hence the extra pound beware of these con merchant's I'm currently looking at getting citizens advice involved.

Worst company they charge you extra don't cover you car with this company I do not recommend to anyone
