"AVOID like the plague!!! I would give negative stars if I can.\n\nThis company is unprofessional, unhelpful and simply criminal. Parked there for a weekend and came back to more than \u00a3700 worth of damages to the car. Their spaces are so tight that any inexperience driver or on a rainy day, your car will get hit.\n\nDON'T LISTEN TO THEIR LIES. Whatever safe car park awards they are advertising are probably false. Their so called CCTV cameras are so few and far apart and do not actually cover the parking bays. No chance they will pick up any footage of a collision when your car is parked. And even requesting the CCTV footage was a huge pain in the bottom. After filing 2 online complaint forms, speaking to 8 different online agents and calling the actual car park office 6 times, the answer I got was they cannot tell me anything about the CCTV footage. All I wanted was to know whether their CCTV camera actually filmed my car in its spot or not, but they simply said they \"don't have time to look at the footage\". To me it sounds like 'you mean nothing to us after we take your money'.\n\nWhat's more frustrating is that the actual service provided was also appalling. They gave us a number to call when you land so that they can send a bus to pick you up from the airport to get to the car park. Took about 10 tries before we got through, each time playing an automated message that says, \"sorry the staff at Airparks is busy\". Then when we got through, they said that they will not send the bus until we are physical outside the airport and at the bus stop before they'll send a bus. We called again when we were outside in the cold and rain, again taking many tries before they answered and said a bus be there in 5 minutes. Little did we know 5 minutes for them meant 30 minutes. They refused to answer our calls again during our long wait in the cold and rain. Some people in our party even caught a cold from that wait.\n\nIn conclusion, if you value your car; your time; your money; or your dignity; pay a few pounds extra and go for the official Luton car parks. This incident I saved \u00a34 pounds in booking but wasted \u00a3700 + higher insurance premium (because I filed a claim to get the CCTV footage as the car park won't review the footage for me), hours of my time, and was rudely spoken to by all the Airparks Shortrun\/Holiday Extras employees. Some of them even ended an online chat after I said them refusing to help me is equal to aiding the hit and run offender. My advice is that take this review seriously and read some others who have said the same. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. This was my worst experience with a heartless corporation."

“Had to wait 40 mins for a bus back to Jet Parks 3 from Terminal 1, during which time 3 buses for Jet Parks 1 and 2 came past, very disappointing!”

“We have used your car park for several years with no real problems.This time 7/6/14 - 14/6/14 was unsatisfactory due to your recent changes at Cardiff. Poor signage to car park 2. Having to go through 3 barriers to get to car park 2 and the new camera to identify car registration on entry and exit did not work,having to use attendant button to open barriers. If we book again - hope that this problem will have been rectified.”

“Your description of the service talks about meet on reception, car check and a valet to park. I felt this meant there would he no chance of other car doors or bad drivers damaging my car. In reality it's no better than a car park in fact worse. The row I parked in was very narrow and on my left the row was empty so some other car was going to park there with little room to open their doors and potential damage to my car. Also no one checked my car when I arrived they said it would be done after I had gone. By then it could be too late. I used the same service at Newcastle and felt I got what I paid for, but not this time.”

“Booked from a link sent to me as I have used air parks regularly. Only to find I was booked into the flying scot. They as it happened were FULLY booked . The woman in charge stated " don't know where everyone is going to really busy " Eh if we weren't travelling then you wouldn't be earning money !We were bumped to a low cost parking area they have roughly a mile from their main parking depot. We really had no option but to let them drop us off in my own car then allow them to park it NOT IDEAL ! We were instructed what to do on our return as concerns telling the driver we were to be taken to low cost parking for our car . Not happy but was determined not to let it spoil our week . We returned today phoned the number as instructed followed the instructions to leave our name and proceed to terminus 5 . You couldn't leave your name as the message machine was FULL ! We proceeded to terminus 5 to see the bus pull away. I then phoned at my own expense to be told we are a bit busy and a bus will arrive shortly. 15 mins later in the rain it arrived. The driver said he had to got to the main office as low and behold " it's a shambles and we are over booked by 50 cars and they have to follow me to low cost" as it turned out no one followed him because after waitin 20 mins he left due to a major snarl up with traffic in the main parking depot . When we did get to low cost after another 45 mins waiting cause they had no record of my car being there and eventually managing to get the guy on the phone at flying scots main depot we were told the car was there at the main depot all along ! A shambles!!!! On the whole a worse performance I have never had the misfortune to experience we were over an hour and a half late in returning home . Some CUSTOMERS didn't wait to be parked and went to the long stay at the airport itself. As your records will show I've used air parks for my parking a lot in the past.I may infuture just get dropped off and picked up by a friend or family member. I do not blame the guys working there but the greed of the people running it. They knew they were over booked the day before we flew so should have emailed or phoned to give us options on what to do. Not doing so tells me they are extremely incompetent or greedy or both . I am contemplating further action as it's a disgrace with modern communication as good as it is not being used . I was led to believe by a customer leaving this morning that parking at low cost is cheaper than at the main flying scot parking area . I intend to look into this soon . Regards Gerard Tobin”

“Despite a horrendous power failure resulting in huge back log on 6th June - staff were fantastic and ploughed on with a slow manual system. Other staff relayed updates to Customers stood in long queue in car park area. True British grit - well done all!!”

“Have used Airparks many times at Gatwick with no problems- Stansted however was a different experience !! Departure was no problem but on arrival back at Stanstead we waited 20mins for bus and then tried to find our way to the exit from the car park . It was very poorly signposted and we seemed to be doing a complete circuit of the area - then when we put our airparks card in the machine it told us we owed £80 -we had only been away 3nts and had already paid - I used the help button and it was sorted out quite quickly but I don't feel inclined to try Stanstead again”

“We had a good transit to the terminal on our outward journey and it was extremely busy when we retuned. We missed our drop off point and had an extremely helpful driver who ran us round again to the correct stop - -well done !”

“I was a little disappointed with the Airport car park service to be totally honest. It isn't particularly cheap and it isn't very reliable either. When I arrived back at the airport after my weekend away expecting just to be able to insert my card and everything to be simple after pre-paying I was faced with being told I owed even more by the machine. I have to say thankfully a member of staff did manage to sort the problem without too much inconvenience but it does kind of defeat the object of pre-paying for your ticket if this issue happens.”
