"AVOID like the plague!!! I would give negative stars if I can.\n\nThis company is unprofessional, unhelpful and simply criminal. Parked there for a weekend and came back to more than \u00a3700 worth of damages to the car. Their spaces are so tight that any inexperience driver or on a rainy day, your car will get hit.\n\nDON'T LISTEN TO THEIR LIES. Whatever safe car park awards they are advertising are probably false. Their so called CCTV cameras are so few and far apart and do not actually cover the parking bays. No chance they will pick up any footage of a collision when your car is parked. And even requesting the CCTV footage was a huge pain in the bottom. After filing 2 online complaint forms, speaking to 8 different online agents and calling the actual car park office 6 times, the answer I got was they cannot tell me anything about the CCTV footage. All I wanted was to know whether their CCTV camera actually filmed my car in its spot or not, but they simply said they \"don't have time to look at the footage\". To me it sounds like 'you mean nothing to us after we take your money'.\n\nWhat's more frustrating is that the actual service provided was also appalling. They gave us a number to call when you land so that they can send a bus to pick you up from the airport to get to the car park. Took about 10 tries before we got through, each time playing an automated message that says, \"sorry the staff at Airparks is busy\". Then when we got through, they said that they will not send the bus until we are physical outside the airport and at the bus stop before they'll send a bus. We called again when we were outside in the cold and rain, again taking many tries before they answered and said a bus be there in 5 minutes. Little did we know 5 minutes for them meant 30 minutes. They refused to answer our calls again during our long wait in the cold and rain. Some people in our party even caught a cold from that wait.\n\nIn conclusion, if you value your car; your time; your money; or your dignity; pay a few pounds extra and go for the official Luton car parks. This incident I saved \u00a34 pounds in booking but wasted \u00a3700 + higher insurance premium (because I filed a claim to get the CCTV footage as the car park won't review the footage for me), hours of my time, and was rudely spoken to by all the Airparks Shortrun\/Holiday Extras employees. Some of them even ended an online chat after I said them refusing to help me is equal to aiding the hit and run offender. My advice is that take this review seriously and read some others who have said the same. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. This was my worst experience with a heartless corporation."

“The bus driver stopped off for over 10 minutes at terminal 1 and got off the bus - leaving the engine running (which eventually conked out) - and provided no explaination as to what she was doing. She later returned with a Marks and Spencers bag. She drove on some more and then again with no explation she stopped and swapped drivers. She then spent a futher 10 minutes telling the new driver about the lovely pasta dish she just bought for her tea and they had a lengthy discusion about what one of their colleagues had been up to. After a long day and flight home with 2 small children, you can imagine how frustrating this was. She took so long that both children fell asleep on the bus!!!”

“We have always used meet and greet at air parks 3 or 4 times every year, the prices have gone up so much and on our last visit in July we saw why ,it was to pay for your brand new office, we already have 3 more bookings with meet and greet for this year and early next, and as there is no extra discount for loyal and repeat customers we will be looking to park elsewhere in the future.”

“Nowhere near as good as the original Airparks at East Midlands. Car park did not seem as secure with just a patrol driving around every so often and cannot understand why the exit barrier opened without inserting my ticket! Anyone could have driven my car out!”

“DONT USE ,!!! THEY TOOK MY SLK230 JOY RIDING ON THE NIGHT AND THEY GOT STOPPED SPEEDING OVER SPEED BUMPS AT 60 mph BY THE POLICE WHO CONTACT ME ..WHEN THE CAR WAS SURPOSE TO BE PARKED IN THERE CAR PARK THEN ONCE I PICKED THE CAR UP FROM THEM THE FRONT SPIOLER WAS DAMAGED HAVE MADE A COMPLATE WHICH THEY HAVE NOT GOT BACK TO ME,,, STAY CLEAR AND DONT USE”

“Had to wait quite a while when arriving at Gatwick, but better on return. It would be better to have a proper designated area for dropping off the cars. The drivers could then drop passengers and go on with the car. All staff very polite and helpful”

“I will not be using air parks again they charged us another 10 pound to get out the compound they said they charge 10 pound a day if you go over your time I'd put 1am instead of pm easy mistake we were half a day late so shud have charged us 5 pound !!!! If they do that with a lot of customers they're quids in”

“No clear indication to where there were spaces available. We spent 15mins driving round and then had to abandon our car. Then the bus shelter had a notice to go to no 14, we did and no bus turned up for 10 mins. We then had to Walk to the terminal. On our return, no bus waiting on our flight arrival, again waited ten minutes no bus then had to walk back to the car. Absolutely appalling service!”

“Why have I been sent this survey when we havent even used the car park yet its not due until 3rd June I would have thought you would have sent this after we used your services . To top it all you have just made us panic and had to check the dates we have booked to stay in your car park right on top of us getting married saturday . Like we havent got enough stress Nice One !”

“Driver's carpet was covered in mud when I went to pick the car up. I think if a mess has been created by one of the parking staff they should at least clean it up”

“when we arrived back at the airport i called to let you know we had arrived they said we will bring your car when we came outside our car was there all locked up but no one about i had to phone again and was told i will be there in 5 mins where he came back i said where have you been and i was told you had 5 arrivals and been as we were late he was busy i think when i paid all this money for meet and greet i did expect it to be meet and greet”

“I changed my flight and came back 2 days later to a whacking !!! extra charge of £60!!! as I paid initially £59 for 5 days this extra charge was ridiculous!!!! disgusted......”

“All relatively good feedback except for one thing; the bus driver drove by the stop when it was obvious that's where I was heading (although I wasn't actually at the stop). It meant I had to wait another 10 minutes before getting collected to go to the airport. He should be more aware as there weren't many people around and it was broad daylight.”
