"AVOID like the plague!!! I would give negative stars if I can.\n\nThis company is unprofessional, unhelpful and simply criminal. Parked there for a weekend and came back to more than \u00a3700 worth of damages to the car. Their spaces are so tight that any inexperience driver or on a rainy day, your car will get hit.\n\nDON'T LISTEN TO THEIR LIES. Whatever safe car park awards they are advertising are probably false. Their so called CCTV cameras are so few and far apart and do not actually cover the parking bays. No chance they will pick up any footage of a collision when your car is parked. And even requesting the CCTV footage was a huge pain in the bottom. After filing 2 online complaint forms, speaking to 8 different online agents and calling the actual car park office 6 times, the answer I got was they cannot tell me anything about the CCTV footage. All I wanted was to know whether their CCTV camera actually filmed my car in its spot or not, but they simply said they \"don't have time to look at the footage\". To me it sounds like 'you mean nothing to us after we take your money'.\n\nWhat's more frustrating is that the actual service provided was also appalling. They gave us a number to call when you land so that they can send a bus to pick you up from the airport to get to the car park. Took about 10 tries before we got through, each time playing an automated message that says, \"sorry the staff at Airparks is busy\". Then when we got through, they said that they will not send the bus until we are physical outside the airport and at the bus stop before they'll send a bus. We called again when we were outside in the cold and rain, again taking many tries before they answered and said a bus be there in 5 minutes. Little did we know 5 minutes for them meant 30 minutes. They refused to answer our calls again during our long wait in the cold and rain. Some people in our party even caught a cold from that wait.\n\nIn conclusion, if you value your car; your time; your money; or your dignity; pay a few pounds extra and go for the official Luton car parks. This incident I saved \u00a34 pounds in booking but wasted \u00a3700 + higher insurance premium (because I filed a claim to get the CCTV footage as the car park won't review the footage for me), hours of my time, and was rudely spoken to by all the Airparks Shortrun\/Holiday Extras employees. Some of them even ended an online chat after I said them refusing to help me is equal to aiding the hit and run offender. My advice is that take this review seriously and read some others who have said the same. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. This was my worst experience with a heartless corporation."

“Waited over 40 minutes for a valet driver from Maple Manor to collect our car at the airport, luckily we had planned to arrive early for breakfast ( which we had to miss) so just about had time to check in for our flight. After phoning twice I was told as we were 5 minutes later arriving at Gatwick than our stated time we had missed our slot! We then watched other drivers arriving after us and having their cars collected. On returning we again waited 15 minutes for our car. This is our 4th time using valet parking but our first time with Maple Manor ( which wasn't the cheapest rate, but we thought the most known name). We were extremely disappointed and would never use them again.”

“I was absolutely disgusted at the state of my car on arrival back at car park after my trip. My car was splashed all over with mud, I could barely see out of the windows. When I dropped my car off at Flying Scot Car Park, Edinburgh, my car exterior was clean and shining. On collection, 4 days later, it was filthy. What really annoyed me was that the car park staff handed me the car back in such a state. They sent the car for a 'clean' but when it came back 5 minutes later it was just as dirty, someone had basically just thrown a bucket of water at it. I was too tired, and about to make a 3 hour journey home, to complain further. This is the first and last time I have / will use Airparks. From now on I will do my best to discourage other people from using this car park service.”

“We arrived back late on Tuesday 10th June, went to the appointed place and rang to inform you we were ready for collection. The number rang and then went to answer phone - which worried us! Our first call was at 11.45 p.m. and we called a further 5 times, another couple who were on the same flight joined us and also rang the number with the same result. At midnightI then rang the emergency number and received a very curt reply saying the driver was on his way, if he didn't answer - I then told the person that we had been ringing for 15 mins. - and you are not that far from the airport! I was then dismissed - I thought somewhat rudely- and told someone would come The coach arrived after a further 5 mins. with the driver complaining to me that I had rung his boss. I told him he needed to answer the phone and I wouldn't have needed to; he then informed me the number was not forwarding ???? I suggest, if you want recommendations and further business; you get your phone systems to work - and also send your staff on customer handling courses, or even teach them some better manors.”

“No available spaces in the car park even though we pre-booked, had to dump car not in a parking space as I did not want to miss my flight. I was worried on my return in case I might have got fined for not parking in a bay”

“The directions we were given were crap we ended up going 12 miles down the m1 and 12 miles back and it was our first holiday abroad with our 2yr old and we missed the flight. Your directions should say just head for east mids airport and then turn right at the next roundabout after you have passed the sirport.”

“This is the second time that we have used this car park. On both occasions everything has gone off smoothly. We will no doubt use them again in the future. My only complaint is that it is too expensive. It isn't much more expensive than the competition. They are all too expensive.”

“Very quick service at reception, shuttle bus is very quick and runs very frequently. Easier once you arrive back in Edinburgh as you can call reception and they will send a bus to come and collect you”

“Very poor. Had to wait ages, then when the driver eventually arrived he was unpleasant and unhelpful. Although being ahead in the queue, the vehicle couldn't take all our luggage so we had to wait until the vehicle returned. All in all we had to wait for an hour at the stance before we got back to our car to drive on for a further 2 hours to our home. We are frequent fliers but we won't be using either Low Cost or Flying Scot again.”
