“If I could give this company a 0 stars I would to say the least. If you’re not from the UK please refrain from purchasing anything from @Akoma Skincare! I accidentally made a purchase on July 4th of their Shea Nilotica Butter for approximately $11.16 not realizing the shipping cost would be $37…so I immediately reach out in the chat on their website to cancel my order before they began to processing anything but I had no luck! 1st response was we typically reply within 4hrs, then we typically reply before close of business….on the 5th I email their support team to cancel my order to which they didn’t…they then emailed be back on the 9th saying they couldn’t find my order # in the system so I then provided it to them but my order still wasn’t cancel after that. To put the ice on the cake today I got a Duty and Tax Invoice in the mail for $41.88…plus given that they didn’t cancel my order I didn’t receive my package until the 27th of July”

“I have bought 3 jars of palm kernel oil from Akoma and on those occasion the content in the jar was real palm kernel oil. So recently i decided to buy my 4th jar of the oil and it turned out to be nothing like the previous ones. I will advice everyone not to buy the current batch of of palm kernel oil from Akoma until they restock. The current palm kernel oil is very toxic ones inhaled and it feels pepperish on your skin. Please DO NOT BUY PALM KERNEL OIL FROM AKOMA until they restock. Thank you.”

“dear Customer Service Team, I recently purchased some Bentonite Clay from you. Today I tried to mix it with water, but it just clumped up. I added more water to the point the mixture was literally swimming in it, and it would not mixed any further. I normally buy the Aztec Indian Healing Clay and have never had a problem mixing the clay with liquid whether it's water, Apple cider vinegar, or aloe vera juice. Very disappointed as I wanted to use it on my face and hair, and I can't as the powder will not fully dissolve in the water. I really wish I never bought this. I tried calling the number on the website and it went to an EE voicemail, even though no mobile number is listed. DEE”

“I still have not received my order. Still not even had a confirmation email for my order, the only thing I have is the PayPal receipt. I have been in touch twice on email and still had no response...very poor”

“Not the real thing, watered down, not sealed properly, smelt like it was mixed with 80% Almond oil. Threw both bottles in the bin... total waste of money. I've used black seed oil for years, I was very disappointed.”

Akoma does have a returns policy and we would have happily exchanged or refunded you for the two bottles you ordered from us. Just to ask if you contacted Akoma with this issue?
