Recently purchased Brooklea 0% greek Yoghourt 150gm . The taste was awful, not creamy as described on the lid. When I looked at the ingredients, it is made with maize starch , which I think contributes to the slighty grainy texture and unpleasant afteertaste

I bought something described as SALT DRY AGED ABERDEEN ANGUS 8oz in a fancy package so designed that it could not be easily identified. I tried to fry it but it was so thin it stewed itself. There was some sort of watery blood which came to the top on one side. I turned it over, fried it for long enough to get rid of the blood. Served it, left a good part of it on the plate, inedible sinew. In Scotland this is known as untrimmed frying steak. I would guess this package is deliberately designed to disguise the fact that it is poor quality meat. 8oz of beef probably previously frozen and possibly injected with salt water.

So, I bought a salad on Sunday from Aldi store at Shipley (Yorkshire) . The package said that this salad contains (and I quote). Apollo Lettuce, Cherry Tomato, Iceberg Lettuce,Lolla Rossa, Cucumber and Red Onion!! What it actually contained was, all the leaffy salad, 2 sliced Cherry Tomato, 1 very thin slice of cucumber, and No Red Onion at all. What a sorry state of a salad..

Excellent customer Service at Leamington Spa store. Big thankyou to Grace who was quick to help when I asked her for some paper towels to clean up a spillage in my car and the carpark She immediately came outside with me armed with a roll of paper towel. Also immediately offered to help me clean up a family size pot of natural yogurt from the car boot. Lovely helpful, customer focussed member of staff. A credit to the store

Prices are good but products are changing for the worse. I use Yuka to check for additives and nutritional value and there have been several products that have changed for the worse in the last year or so. Most recently, the protein pots that were made with quark are now milk based yoghurt, they have several new additives including aspartame and pectin, and they taste awful, the lemon cheesecake and vanilla were both really good, they are now too thick, chalky and sour, the same happened with some veggie burgers a while ago and the pizzas and ready meals. Probably a quest to save a few pence at the expense of customers health.

Latest update on new ALDI at Diss, still great but having come to aldi again this morning saturday 5/7/25 it's plainly obvious that car park isn't anywhere big enough, cars queuing almost on to road

New ALDi store in Diss, very impressed large aisles so plenty of room, very helpful staff, only fault is if you park farthest end away from store you have to walk back to store to park trolley then back to car as there is nowhere to leave trolley.

I never have left a review for a supermarket purchase, but today I thought I should because the red grapes I bought from Aldi in Bicester was out of this world! So fresh, so sweet and delicious. Whoever your farmer is , keep buying grapes from them. Beats M&S, Waitrose and all the rest!

I went to Aldi (Heswall) today for a garden parasol base. It was extremely heavy and I could lift it. I asked a gentleman who worked there ( unfortunately don’t have his name) if someone could assist me and he asked Callum to help me. He had to lift it into the trolley, back out to scan ( the code wouldn’t work) and then accompanied me to my car and lifted it into the boot. Thank you for excellent customer service and particularly Callum who had to do the heavy lifting .

Look I think Aldi is great and never shop anywhere else. But please, I never thought you would succumb to posturing. My local has installed some tiny recycling bins. Most of the people who shop there will have the majority of their recycling collected by our local council, with the exception of food packaging. What is really needed is one large one with a top that is easy to get into for all the plastic bags, empty convenience food trays , dried food bags etc. that you can’t put in the collected bins at home. And then genuinely get that stuff which goes off to the dumps recycled.

The coffee stout is exceptional. It's a lovely tasting beer which is why it often sells out. I have tried a few different coffee stouts but this is by far the best. It's also at a great honest price. Keep up the great work

Very disappointed with the Hunters Chicken - cooked as per the instructions but the chicken was very rubbery. The chicken went in the bin. Not as good as the Co-Op version of Hunters Chicken.

Purchased Crestwood Deep Filled Steak Pie for one. Inedible. All the meat pieces were Miniscule and Grisly. Could not eat any of it. Disgusting and totally disappointing. How this Company can sell such inferior sub-standard meat is shameful. Threw it in the bin. Waste of purchase money, my time and electricity to cook it.
