When my elderly father pressed his unit, Alert1 first called my business phone (the first choice). When they didn't get me, they left a message and immediately called the home number (the second choice, where I was in for the evening). They had already sent the paramedics by that call (who my wife and I met at the apartment since we only live a few blocks away). Alert1's response time is very quick. They are the only reason my father can live alone at his apartment, and we're very happy this service exists.

We are really glad to have Alert1. It brings us a sense of peace knowing that if Mom falls, she can get help immediately.

When my mom fell I was supposed to get the call first, but they had already called the first responders. It worked out fine.

Called in for non emergency ems we were not able to hear person from alert1 towards middle of conversation. He took quite a long time to call us back using telephone although he had put call in to ems. Been using alert1 for many years and have lost some confidence in them.

This is his wife, Billie. I was here and I was able to get to box and talk to the person who answered. I just want to make sure that pressing the button is enough to dispatch help because Im not always here to talk to someone. If Dave had pressed the button but couldn't get to box to talk, would you still alert the paramedics?

I only wish you would have told me that you had gotten ahold of my daughter and she was on her way. I had no idea what was going on till I heard someone coming in my house. That is a scary time and I wish you would have kept me informed.

We just had to place my Mother in law in a nursing home. Having her Alert 1 button probably kept her home longer than without it. She wanted to stay in her yard and work all the time. Numerous falls where she just would bend over and topple over or just stay out too long and get tired. We were only about 2 miles from her house and could get there within minutes. It finally, over the last month , became more than we could do. I just cancelled the service because she had to be placed in a nursing home but would recommend highly.

The emergency responders were given the incorrect code to access the key box. Eighty six years old, on the floor for almost 30 minutes and no vital signs were taken by responding agency.

The representative did I interacted with honest past call did not understand that there was an emergency and I was looking for help her response was something to the effect of so everything is okay there. I understand that I was walking away from the unit and maybe she could not hear me clearly. This is the first representative who did not initially understand the nature of the call. It turns out my mother had a fractured pelvis and was in the hospital and will be in rehab for a while. Can we put the service on hold to extend the contract? If someone could call to speak to speak with me that would be wonderful. In the past the representatives that I have spoken to have always understood the situation and the answer time on this call took a lot longer than in the past.
