“My last working day at Fidelity ADT was 29 September 2023, I received feedback my withdrawal will take 4-6 weeks, however, I am withdrawing some funds, and transferring the rest, when I call the contact center for feedback, they keep telling me they are awaiting the ROT, my broker has sent it twice already on 30 October 2023 and 6 November 2023 to adtadmin@alexforbes.com. Is the admin department not updating the feedback? The contact center escalated the matter as well on Monday, but still, no feedback. I am busy getting very upset.”
“I have read through all these reviews and it really doesn’t get any better for these guys! Alexander Forbes , spite the almost glamorous name, it’s a poorly run entity by a so called team of so called professionals. I am now certain that if I ever have to make a choice for a financial services provider that deals with pension, retirement investment, inheritance, etc, it’s never going to be these lot of time wasters.
After plenty emails sent, I still haven’t got a proper reason or response for their actions as well as the fact that they’ve upheld payments and somehow nobody has time to address the situation! Seems their automated email response works more than any of those so called Forbes employees!
What a joke and excuse of a company!
If you’re looking for someone to manage your pension, or your inheritance or any financial assistance one might need, Alexander Forbes isn’t the company for anyone! Do your research so you don’t have problems like many of us do with these people!

“I have been tracking my claim and it said it was registered then all of a sudden its not registered. When i phoned you you are rude and unprofessional and incompetent and couldn't give details about my claim or whether its been send to tax or where i am standing with my claim it's so frustrating dealing with Alexander Forbes they really go out of their way not help you”
“I have been struggling for WEEKS to get my tax certificate from Alex Forbes for contributions made to the fund during my employment and tax year. The consultants replying to emails (when they even do) say that the certificate is unavailable because I transferred my fund. HOW CAN THIS BE. THESE WERE CONTRIBUTIONS MADE PRIOR TO LEAVING THE FUND. SEVERE INCOMPETENCE. THIS IS A ROUTINE TAX CERTIFICATE.”

“Submitted my divorce order in this year. Up until then I have not receive peace. It feels like they trying everything in the power not to pay. Well yesterday I received Email notification that the claim has been finalized I tried calling them so that I have a better understanding of the Email because how a claim ge finalized when I haven't received payment. Can you imagine in state of panic trying to call AF ended up holding for 20min listening to the automated voice. Emails no reply. I called again today I got to speak to someone on the 3rd try The lady told me that I was paid on the 29th of September I asked her how much it was, she said she can't tell me over the phone. Told her that I want to check and trace payment she refused. She the told me that she can only send me confirmation and the amount of money that I'm supposed to receive. That was at 08h30 today up until now j haven't received any communication. Sent Emails I boxed politely on FB . Worse part yesterday they Emailed saying that the claim has been finalized. Why is it so difficult to get answers who did they pay and how much was paid 🤔 . Wouldn't it be better to fix this soon if indeed they mistakenly payed a stranger”

“Emailed them 2 weeks ago and calling with no response they keep you holding for 2 hours l need them to correct my IRP5 they captured wrong amount paid on my pension after l was retreched..Never use Alexander Forbes again their service is below standard.”

Even to thz hour no one has managed to refine my certification so I can submit my returns. Poorest service, your consultants do not care about your customers.”

“I resigned from my previous employer in Jan of 2019 and decide to withdraw my provident fund. Firstly no one called me after my resignation to advise on the process to follow to withdraw. So I called myself and started the process. Was told the funds will be in my account in 6-8 weeks. To date I am still waiting. I lost count how many times I’m calling AF for feedback and every time it’s a different story. I have run out of options now as this company does not care at all for their members and the call center agent are rude and just answer for the sake of answering. No effort has been made to resolve my problem and no one has ever tried to make contact after many promises to do so.”
