“I love my BGE, Best BBQ in the world, best charcoal in the world, cooked for 15 hours on one load, no problem. Delivery is always super fast and on time and customer service is always friendly and excellent. I also like the amount of advice a recipes on the website which is always great for trying new things on the ever versatile BGE. No complaints only recommendations. Cheers.”

“I bought an egg after much deliberation last year. It is my first barbecue. I could not be happier with my purchase. I have cooked fast and slow, meat, fish, vegetables, through the summer and the winter, and yet I feel like I am only beginning to explore its possibilities. Five star is an understatement. And thanks to the UK distributors who do a terrific job.”

“We bought the Large Big Green Egg as a joint Xmas present. We were given a free Kelly Bronze turkey with the purchase. Our first attempt with the BGE was to cook the turkey on Xmas day. I watched some videos on how to operate the BGE prior to use. My first impression was the build quality is really good. It arrived on the day it should and the driver even put the pallet straight into the garage for us. Lighting the egg is not comparable to a normal BBQ. It works every time with just two small lighters and nothing else. Getting the temperature you require and keeping it once you put you food in is taking some practice, but it's just a case of opening and closing the top and bottom vents to get the temperature you require. This is not a BBQ, it's an outdoor oven and we treat it as such. So far we have cooked, turkey, joint of pork, smoked pork vindaloo, roast chicken and a rib of beef. I would happily recommend this product for its quality, ease of use and the ability to reuse the coals not quite burned from last time.”

“I bought the large size mainly to use as a nice hot bread oven - I did not want a traditional fixed wood fired oven as i could not move it around . I love the egg - lights easily , bakes great bread with the convection attachment in - so far have used it every week ( and it's winter ) not done much else yet - except I did smoke a whole chicken which was fabulous For bread it seems to need about 45 mins to get everything seriously hot - I struggle to bake more than 1 large loaf ( 1.5 kg boule ) or two normal size tins at a time and after about 4 loads one load of charcoal struggles to keep the heat at the very temperatures ( i.e. it's down to the temperature of a hot domestic oven ) so half think the XL may have been better”
